Because of a housing situation with the US Army I paid for this room for my granddaughter and her husband. It was $96 a night - reasonable - I thought until after I made the reservation. Because I was paying for my granddaughter I had to fill out an authorization for my credit card. Along with this form was a letter which outlined a number of fees which was to be collected at sign in at the desk which were not disclosed anywhere at the time I made the reservation. Also the room had bugs crawling up and down the bathroom walls, the air-conditioner leaked down the wall the they had to keep towels underneath it, there is visible mold in and around the shower and on the shower curtain, the faucet on the bathroom is not fastened to the sink, and the inside of the microwave was not cleaned well. I am so upset that you would advertise this hotel and charge approximately $1500 counting all the extra fees charged at check-in and have a room that was sub-standard at best. My granddaughter did say the people who worked there were very nice, but the room was a joke. People outside screaming and making loud noise at all hours of the night and no one at the front desk to talk to about it. Not a good experience. I think it is overpriced and you owe me a refund for this sad experience. I will certainly not be leaving a good review on Orbitz or the website of this hotel. If you want, I can send you photographs of all the things I mentioned that were wrong in the room.

Clean room , clean towels, clean sheets.Great location , great price. Not so great the nasty carpet which hosted a bunch of small ants that climbed into our sheets and into my suitcases ...

We loved that the property was clean, quiet and close to the beach. We liked the security of locked gates from 8pm to 8 am. The property was old and the sink faucet in our bathroom was very loose. The plugs in the bathroom did not work, and I would have liked to have a hairdryer provided. Also, I asked for a room with two beds the week before we arrived, but they would not change it from a king size bed which was on the reservation. The lock box for after hours check in was difficult to open. It would have been nice not to have to pay $35.00 plus tax for a late check out (only two hours...) We spent extra hours at the airport to catch our red eye home. Overall we had a lovely stay, and the lower ratings were because of the age in the room and no free late check out. The personnel and upkeep of the property were excellent.

Huge, $250 deposit. Large $70 amenities which paid for ??. Only thing we received was one ounce of shampoo and a bar of soap and NO clean towels after taking showers.

Was easy access to walk to beach and there was a lot of stores to go shopping some were open 24hrs

The staff was very polite and helpful. What I didnt like about the place- it was horrible. The room were so old and outdated, parking couldnt accomodate a large van, hard to fine and roaches. I am sorry but customers with higher standards should be notified that this property isnt suitable to stay at. The picture is deceivable & misleading.

This is an older property. I can't justify the price.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME This is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in!! Room service hasn't fixed the covers on the bed not 1 single time in the 4 days I've stayed here!!! NO TELEVISION and NO Wifi in the room!! AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, ROACHES WERE EVERYWHERE!!! I ADVISE FOR ANYONE WHO'S READING THIS REVIEW, DO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THIS ROACH MOTEL!! YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! Pay more money and go elsewhere!!!

Never got that far. I booked Pagoda Waikiki by mistake. Meant the original Pagoda on Rycroft. When I tried to check into the original Pagoda I learned my error and was actually in the car about to head to Wiakiki when Pagoda Waikiki called and said 1) there was no parking available, and 2) if I made that booking mistake and wanted to stay at Original Pagoda they would cancel my stay and talk to the manager in the morning to sort things out. But, I never heard back from anyone and of course, I was charged for both nights - more than the original reservation was supposed to cost. And then I have been unable to contact the hotel since. No posted phone number. Went through Orbitz 3 days ago and still have heard nothing.

The staff is very polite and courteous.I asked if it was ok to check in early and they said we will see what can be done, I was able to check in a little earlier

Aloha! We deeply apologize for the inconvenience. Checking your reservation, we found that it was for 6 nights. Your granddaughter never came to the front desk to complain during the stay, we could have immediately resolved the problem. Mahalo

We have very limited amount of parking stalls we can provide our guest that is why we recommend that they reserve a parking stall and let us know if they need.
