Conveniently located with a friendly and helpful staff. The pool wasn't available, but accommodations were made for guest to use a pool just a block away. The rooms were a bit on the small side, however, my family and I really enjoyed our time there!

Dilapidated hotel with a friendly staff

Fantastic location just blocks from the beach. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall hotel condition is not great. While clean, the bathroom could use a deep cleaning (dirt stains in bath) and terrace needs a good power washing. We were most disappointed by the condition of the pool (closed!) and breakfast area, which was in terrible shape. They offered pool vouchers for a nearby hotel but honestly, I would’ve appreciated a refund of our resort fee if there’s no functioning pool and considering the dismal condition of the breakfast area. Breakfast time was always a battle, with throngs of people grabbing food from the buffet and racing to a prized shaded table on that hot and dilapidated rooftop. We had the opportunity to explore some other hotels in the area during our trip, and they were all in much better condition and with nicer amenities. Adding insult to injury, the price of our room was frustratingly about half of what we paid six months ago when we booked it. Honestly, and not to be rude to other countries, compared to the surrounding hotels, this one felt a bit “third world.”

I enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Place. The one downside was that the pool was undergoing renovations and we were able to use it, however the hotel arranged for guests to use the pool at a nearby hotel during the renovation period. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking to stay close to Waikiki Beach as the staff is really nice and I felt very safe staying here.

Great location a couple of blocks from the beach. Appreciated the buffet breakfast every morning. Room for improvement: Pool was closed for maintenance, one dryer in the laundry room was out of service.

Hotel was nice, good breakfast, staff was friendly. Only issue I had is when we got to the hotel later in the evening, there was no parking available on site. We had to park far away and walk to the hotel. We tried the next day after check out time for people who were leaving that day and there was availability.

The location is good. There’s a huge problem with parking in Waikiki. Average price to park a car is $45 per night. But there’s a couple of streets where you can park it for free near the hotel. The only one thing - our shower got clogged one night and we had to wait till the morning for them to fix it

This hotel has a great location, and also the staff is very friendly. The only thing I recommend is to get a deep cleaning in the room, specially in the bathroom floor. Other than that, I recommend this hotel.
