I like that it’s in downtown and close to the bars and restaurants there. I just hate that I had to pay TWICE in order to check in. They had already charged my card once and wouldn’t let me check in until they did it again because they said it didn’t go through even through it had already taken the money from my account. I tried explaining to the little man behind the counter but he was useless. Then once I finally got financially screwed and checked in, I got to spend all night listening to a bunch of drunk people screaming at each other in the room next to mine until 3am

The staff was rude obnoxious and believe me around lied about everything I had booked a room for three nights they kick me out after 1 saying I never booked it for the other two nights even when I showed him the reservation on my phone distiller pushing me out took my stuff out of my room without my permission in the process ruined a $550 CPAP machine do not go here worst people worst property ever

My door closed in that it latched but there was no seal with door frame. light could get in. cold could get in. other people's conversations could get in.

Room was clean, bed was comfy. The property is in sever need to tlc, lots of paint just slapped on rotting plaster. The hotel is close to the train tracks, which means every 10 minutes you'll hear the train. We had the bright idea of turning on the fan, which smelled like someone vomited in the intake, so we turned it off a day suffered thru the trains.

- near downtown - loud, because of the train and street - rooms was not clean

I like how convenient it is but the cleaning staff is very rude. It was 10:45am (Checkout was at 11am) and the cleaning lady knocked on our door. She then proceeded to OPEN our door and ask if we were leaving. It was weird and incredibly rude.

While a superb downtown location and pleasant staff, only one bar of soap was given, there was a hair in hand towel, the sink clogged, and there was barely any room-cleaning done after our first night. The surface of some of the stairs is worn and peeling. I hope at some point, this undergoes significant renovation.

Easy waling distance from Amtrak to the hotel, which is why we selected this older well worn property. It seems clean and well cared for but not a 5 star. But then the price also was not a 5 star. I will stay again if traveling to Downtown Flagstaff. Oh yeah, late check in was accommodated with a smile at 0100 am.

I wrote to both hotel and to Orbitz in due time to cancel my registration due to an emergency and still got charged...it was stated that Orbitz did not let them know as well so then they charged me...I did not use the hotel ..and informed all in time to meet the the cancelation requirement....So not happy....

I booked online and paid for the room in full. On checkin they said I must pay an additional $12 per night. They said it was for the TV and utilities. The person checking me in, said everyone complainss bout that and then laughed. Since my booking was non-refundable, I forced to shell out for the unexpected fee.

Keep in mind, you pay for what you get and it's not much here. The queen bed had a sink hole on one side and bed sheets didn't smell fresh and clean. Watch out for the one inch drop as you enter the room. If you plan on a hot shower be sure to wakeup before everyone else, you snooze you lose. This is a pet friendly motel that disparately needs improvements. For a few bucks more there are other choices, it is well worth it.

shower curtain was moldy No light were the sink was The air conditioner turned itself off during the middle of the night and had be working at full blast to cool the room and since it was right near the head of one bed that person was cold while the rest were still too warm.

Motel is walking distance to all of Downtown Flag as well NAU , Amtrak station, Greyhound and shuttle to airport and Phoenix. Staff was very nice and let me check in early for a small fee. Obvious noise from many trains that run through Flag. Simple basic accomodations at a reasonable price.

This place is location on the corner of two busy streets and it is across the street from 3 busy train tracks. When checking I was told that we wouldn't hear the train, somehow the old building in disrepair was going to block the sound. I paid for a room with two queens and was given a room with double beds. When I asked about it, the receptionist told me that room had a plumbing issue... I imagine it always does, that is why the rooms look nothing like the photos. I've rarely stayed in sketchier places even in 3rd world countries. The only upside is that it is within walking distance to food but there are places that aren't dumps with walking distance as well. Don't stay here!

Nasty Nasty Nasty very nasty room smelled like urine

You're bathroom is partly in the sleeping area and your "kitchen" is also the clothes closet. Other than those odd things it's your run of the kill budget motel. Great location for having fun in the downtown area and stumbling back to the motel after. Staff is super firneldy and helpful.

When I arrived for check in, the hotel charged me $9.50 for a "hotel fee". So much for a discounted rate for using Orbitz!! The parking lot is soooo small. I don't think there is even enough spaces for one car per room. The room itself was about what I had expected. Slightly better than Motel6(which is one step up from camping). In the morning I went to take a shower but the water was just trickling out of the shower head. The water in the sink was fine. After looking at the shower head well... it looked old and was most likely not taken care of and clogged up. I had to leave so on my way out, I informed the front desk. The lady assured me "Oh no, we have great water pressure" I didn't really know what else to say, so I just left. Overall, it was disappointing to pay an additional fee and then compounded by something pretty simple yet major like running water!!

After driving I-40 & Old Route 66 for two days, this was a perfect place to stop. With plenty of places for dinner and drinks within walking distance. Checked in late with a last minute booking and were pleased to find great shopping nearby when we woke up. This is a 'mom and pop' franchise where the staff really puts their heart and soul into their work.
