A brand new listing in an exclusive Jamacia Beach Division on the water!

This home boasts over 1700 square feet, two stories, High ceilings, abundant light, and numerous decks to swim, fish, watch the sunset/sunrise, and more.
When you arrive there is a newly paved driveway for at least three cars for your convenience. As you walk up the dual stairs you are welcomed by a spacious deck with all you need - Adirondack chairs, picnic tables complete with cup holders, and lounge chairs As you walk in there is abundant sunlight that illuminates both the making room and kitchen area.
The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you will need for cooking, and if you should like to bar b q there is a new gas pit below so you can fish, swim, paddle while your BBQ for everyone. In addition, there is a bar so you can hold all your refreshments.
All four spacious bedrooms are equipt
There is a cabana shower with two shower heads (both hot and cold) as well as a half bathroom that is connected to the outdoor shower.
All four bedrooms are equipped with brand new flat-screen TVs for your convenience, all widi is included.

Note: It is possible (not probable) that the jacuzzi will not yet be available by Memorial Day. We appreciate your patience.

NOTE:
1. There is NO SMOKING in the house. If it is found that there has been smoking inside there will be a nominal fine.

2. If you should lock yourself out, we will do everything to help. Please note that if someone comes out there is a small charge

3.We do not take AMEX.

Great location at the bay area

My cousins and I rented this house for the weekend. Great location on the Bay Area. Susan was very responsive. The house was the perfect size for us, a group of 7 adults. We rested and enjoyed the bay a lot. We didn’t catch anything (it was our first time), so we should come back ;)

We enjoyed the canal. But we wouldn't stay here again.

We had great communication with the owner once we booked. Then the day of travel, I had to ask for the code for the house. I'm used to getting an email with all the info in it, but we never received that. I was given the code and address of a yellow house. This house is white. I had to ask for the correct house code. The house wasn't the cleanest of places. Dog fur in the kitchen and living room floor. The carpet upstairs was pretty nasty, needed a good vacuum at the baseboards. There was a half drank frozen Gatorade in our ice so we thru out all the ice and started over. Dried old food was in the cabinet that was just disgusting. It's a cute house in a nice location. Just needs a good deep clean. The trash can in the kitchen had gross fluid at the bottom and no trash bags for us to use. Luckily we had some in our truck. We tried to start a load of towels before we left but there wasn't any laundry soap for us to use. I messaged the owner to say we checked out. My phone was on silent and I had missed 2 calls. She texted to say there was a problem, that one of the kids peed the bed and she doesn't know what to do. I messaged with her back and forth, a lot of times. I said our 14 year old didn't pee the bed, no one did. She said it could have been the previous guest. I said it was bc it wasn't us. My daughter didn't pee the bed, she didn't even sleep in the kid's room. I listened to the voice-mail. It said " you just left the blue house and we have a problem, one of the kids peed the bed, etc." We stayed in a white house so she had no idea what guest was in what house of hers. I figured it out and told her to call the guest who stayed in the blue house and blame their kids for peeing the bed, as we stayed in the white house. We have never been accused of ruining a mattress or being bad guests. We have never had to ask for the code to check in. And we have never stayed in a place this dirty. We wouldn't stay here again. It was pricey for what we had to deal with. And the last communication with the owner over the peed in bed wasn't right and it def had us angry on the way home. She should have been more organized as to what guest was staying in each of her houses. I have never left a bad review with all the places we have stayed with VRBO over the years. I was shocked with everything that went down.

Great Place & Great Host

This place is even better in person. The pictures helped us but seeing it was even better. The Host was very very helpful in helping us get situated as we were the first ones staying at the beach house. Susan answered all my messages & phone calls & got us the information needed quickly. I would definitely rate this as a 5 star place to stay while in Galveston.
