Great place place for families. It was easy to get across to the beach. Balcony view nice. The pool was alway a hit too with the kids. Small but Clean rooms. Plenty of towels. Only downfall was no breakfast included. $10 buffet was very good but not affordable for a family or for each day. Tiny refrigerator in room. No microwave. The always happy helpful & friendly staff boosts the experience.

Friendly staff, clean, adequate parking, convenient to beach activities and not far from downtown area either.

Nice facility. Disappointments: 1) an expensive breakfast buffet, and 2) a $10/night parking fee + tax

Great stay, nice location, and really clean Hotel. Would stay here again definitely...

The hotel looked better in the pictures. It was an okay hotel I think that the price could have been cheaper for the condition of the hotel. It was clean and liveable no doubt about that. The swimming pool was a little dirty and I think could have been cleaned more often with the amount of people in the pool. I have a pool at home so my standards are pretty high when it comes to pool cleanliness and clarity. My 6 year old went to the bottom of the pool and it was so cloudy I could not see him until he got closer to the surface.

Best hotel on Seawall for the money. Walking distance to Pleasure Pier and many great restaurants (including Miller's for breakfast). Great pool with swim up bar. Friendly staff and comfortable beds!

WAY overpriced hotel with no breakfast, great location to beach and fantastic cookies, just not worth $280 a night plus $10 a day for parking, are you KIDDING ME. Elevators were broken Every day.

This was an absolute wonderful place to stay and spend my 50th Birthday! The hotel staff was incredible and the shuttle services they offer were a huge benefit for hopping around the island night life. Kudos to Zack, our shuttle driver along with everyone else. The room was artfully decorated....Love the renovation they have done. Room service was excellent and we were more than pleased with our food order. Outside bar was a blast. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is undergoing a complete renovation and the lobby area quite bare. The room I stayed in had been completely redone but the hallway was lacking carpet. A simple continental breakfast was provided but their were only a few seats in the lobby and workmen were constantly coming and going. When renovations are complete, it will probably be a very nice place to stay. Staff was helpful and apologetic for the mess.

It would have been nice to know that they was remodeling the hotel, and the new look of the rooms was quit shocking and not my tast, but it was an ok stay after it was all said and done. I would stay there agen, the orange refrigerater kinda grew on me.

We stayed one night and everything was good. The bar out by the pool overlooking the beach was nice.

We stayed over the Christmas Holiday at the Galveston Beach Hotel and loved it. One caveat, they were in the middle of reservations, and are turning into a Double Tree by Hilton, so there was some construction going on and not all the amenities (such as the fitness room) were available. However, despite that, the experience was still great. The staff was very courteous and attentive and the rooms were very clean and nice. They put us in a newly renovated room and you could still smell the fresh paint. All the rooms are beachfront as well, so that's definitely a plus. The location is great too. Walking distance to Pleasure Pier and a short drive to most other attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel under renovation, our room was perfect, clean and new, staff was great, some construction around the hotel but great value and perfect room.

The hotel is in renovation status so you may smell some subtances and make you sneezing alot. Also the fitness room is not available. Otherwise are good.

Pretty nice rooms. Great Food! A little on the expensive side. Like that the hotel is not big and that rooms are ocean view. Swim up bar nice but not worth it!!! No one supposedly is supposed to bring any drinks to pool area. Not even water. They will take it from you, even if you bought it in their vending machine. We were told if pool has a swim up bar, it is considered a bar area too and is regulated by TABC rules. There were 14 of us so we had several rooms. A couple of us like drinks not offered in the bar so we would have to go back to our room when we wanted a drink. No cooler in area even if not drinking from it. Can not use it to sit on. We were told by the manager that signs are posted everywhere to this effect. We did not find one. Right after we were told no drinks of Any kind from the outside allowed in, the staff poured a couple that walked in with drinks - in plastic cups. What we are 14 and they are two. We are all older and were not a rowdy group. Just something to think about if you plan on spending any time at the pool. Very strict policy and they will watch you like a hawk. Besides that staff is pretty friendly. None of my group recommends staying here and we will not again.

Hotel was in great location. Beautiful on gulf side, but seemed old, outdated on back side of hotel, which is how you get to rooms. Overall, enjoyed stay. Would have been a better value if breakfast was included. Can buy buffet breakfast for $10.95.

I was locked in the restroom for a couple of hours due to a faulty door knob.

Paid a lot of money for this hotel and the main elevator was broke. Had to stand in line every time and wait for the elevator make several trips before we could get on. It was very slow. The maids did not want to clean the rooms. They came at 5:30 in the evening to try and clean. Of course, we were getting ready for dinner and had to send them away. One of the girls at the pool was extremely rude. She jumped all over us for bringing our own drink although it was not posted anywhere that we couldn't. We laid the back of an empty lounger down so we could see over it and as soon as we did, she walked over and raised it back up and just looked at us.

The hotel was average. Pool was nice with swim up bar. Staff didn't seem to know what was going on in their own hotel. Refrigerator was dirty when we first got there. Had to get them to clean. Air conditioner vented out onto balcony. It was noisy and throwing hot air so you couldn't sit out there to enjoy the view.

The location was awesome. We had a nice beach view from our balcony and my family loved the pool. The hotel staff was really
