We spent one night before our cruise from Galveston. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was close to commercial district; we ate dinner at a local restaurant. Getting back to the hotel after dinner was a bit of a bother; the street signage wasn't clear and the main highway had limited access so we had to go a long way round to get back.

Everyone was nice and helpful at the desk. The hotel itself was clean. The pool and hot tub was just right for relaxing. The rooms and all it's amenities was relaxing. The food great with a good variety. The bed was C-O-M-F-O-R-T-A-B-L-E!!! We woke up refreshed. Thanks for the great service and hospitality. We do plan to come back next month.

Hotel staff was not very friendly! Rooms are set up very odd. When I asked the front desk attendant about good places for diner she told me everything closed at 9pm (which was not true we found several restaurants that were open passed 10). Housekeeping starts knocking on your door at 10am to clean your room. I would not stay again!

Slept with all the lights on, found a roach crawling across the desk in the living room. My kids sleeping right next to this on a pull out sofa that just had the mattress, no sheets-blankets-pillows anywhere in the room. Called and they brought the thinnest possible bedding with very OLD, thin pillows.Couldn't check out, all hotels full for spring break. I can't do bugs of any kind much less these. Was terrified that some would be in our luggage when we left. I told the desk clerk when we checked out, she said she was sorry and would tell the maintenance personnel. Can't believe we paid over $200 for this and literally slept maybe 2 hours.

It appears to be a new hotel, but everything was great. The wife had a problem with the bed and the current location is bad if you're coming from the south.

In Galveston to visit a grandson who lives nearby. He was staying with us at Galveston Island. We arrived about the same time as the remnants of Huricane Patricia and she fought flooding rain and wind. The rain was blown around our window and flooded the carpet. The young lady (Briceyda) at the front desk was extremely helpful, getting a room across the hall cleaned so we could move. She was friendly, helpful, always smiling in a tough situation. As for the hotel the room was fine a good value and roomy(king suite) the breakfast was pretty good-better than average-and the facility was clean. Highly recommend it for any trip to the Island.

The room was ok. I didn't really like the room layout. The breakfast was good , but could have been better if they had something different each day. The pool was so small, if there were 6 or 8 people in it, it was crowded.

We like this hotel, enough space in our room, sofa bed, indoor pool, breakfast, everything meet our expectations, definitely will be back netx time on Galveston

Great visit and vey clean a awesome place to visit a very nice staff the breakfast was awesome very good

accidently booked wrong date so didn't stay here. was charged because they were not willing to make changes or refund money.

A little below par for the average Springhill Suites. A bit dirty and not quite the trendy décor as other locations. We did not try the breakfast but the breakfast area was not large and not the most inviting area. The front desk staff were just OK, looked like local high school or college kids and not as professional as staff at some other locations. The parking lot is on a slight hill so that could be a bit difficult to manage for some people. It is located off the freeway with a few minute drive to Galveston beaches. It served our purpose for a one night stay but I would probably look elsewhere if we were to come to Galveston area gain.

Staff was great!! The price was extremely reasonable for what you get. My family and i were very comfortable in out nice sized room.

The hotel location, staff, amenities and pricing through this site was awesome! I was more than satisfied with our stay at this hotel. No complaints from me :-)

The staff were very accommodating when it came to check in and check out process. Room was very clean and we need a suite for our family and everyone slept comfortably. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable. Especially before we hit the local attractions. Would definitely come back on my next vacation!

Nothing too exciting for the price. Good for a short overnight stay.

My family had a wonderful time staying there! Rooms were nice, breakfast was great and we liked the fact that they had an indoor pool since it rained while we were there. location was great, price even better, we would definitely stay there again!!!

This was a great hotel for an inexpensive family vacation. We loved the breakfast and my son enjoyed the indoor pool. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Was given a nice room but for wheelchair accessibility. It was clean and bed was comfortable except the bottom sheets kept coming off the bed while we slept.. The breakfast was awesome. Lots to choose from. After getting home I noticed I was charged twice for the room so my wife called and Rosie was very helpful in clearing up the situation. I am very pleased.

Drove down to Galveston from Oklahoma for cruise. Location is perfect as it is right off the exit ramp, and close to the beach drive with many great restaurants. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Planning on using them again on our next cruise.

The room was really nice, especially for the rate. The setup was a little weird, with the TV in an awkward place, which made watching TV a little inconvenient from certain positions. Offered a nice breakfast, but there wasn't a bar (so don't be fooled by "happy hour"). You can't earn rewards credits if you book through this website (apparently I can't use brand names in my review, which is incredibly stupid), which was a little disappointing.
