Our visit to Galveston was excellent. Quick check in and the view from our room was exactly as expected. Breakfast was phenomenal. Lots of extras to put in or on the normal. Waffles. Yogurt. Cereal etc. Fridge in the room was larger than the typical hotel fridge. Kroger was right next door for grabbing fast snacks at a better price.

This hotel was a perfect start to our cruise. The check-in was seamless, the room was clean. If I had to come up with a complaint I thought I had booked a king bed but got a room with 2 queen beds. Not a big deal at all but it did seem the room was a little tight. Aside from that, I would book to stay here again. It’s literally steps to the beach.

We were removed three times. The first room was hairs in the bathroom and the safe was filled with sand and empty milk bottles. The second room was a connecting room with a domestic violence issue on the other side of the door that thankfully we were able to get out of there to the third room. The third room had two cockroaches in the bathroom that I killed and we just sucked it up and stayed since I already prepaid for the room. I would definitely not recommend Clarion in the future and nor would we ever stay at this property again.
