Hilton Galveston Island Resort

Nice bed and hair dryer. Bathroom and coffee maker need some update/maintenance.

Room was a great location, but it wasn't as clean as it could have been. Shower was plugged badly and the water took 10 minutes to drain, and I didn't have time to complain due to circumstances. Lots of kiddies at the pool but I have to say the bar and restaurant were quite good, best appetizers and service ever--just get some Ginger Beer and know you have it instead of charging full price when it's lost its fizz (but we tipped over 20 percent). Thanks!

Staff was friendly, view was incredible, loved the hot tub and heated pool, and loved the bath towels and deep bath tub.

Wonderful accomodations, FREE cruise Parking and Shuttles back and Forth! - Fantastic!

Quiet lovely place for off-season folks who want to save money and travel safely! Convention center, beach, and several restaurants are within easy walking distance. Be sure to book an ocean-front view so you can watch the sun rise! Be sure to also check out the pool with the swim-up bar and hot tub! Located in a busy part of Galveston - lots to do and lots of fun!

Everything ok. Bathroom is not working good . Like water did not go out very well

We decided to stay in Galveston for a quick overnight getaway. We chose the Hilton, mostly because of the name. The property looked wonderful as we pulled in. The lobby area was beautiful. We were excited. Our excitement only increased when we saw the pool from the glassed in elevator. We eagerly went to our room, #423. When we entered the room, which was at the back of the building, the excitement faded. The ceiling was water stained, and there was still trash in the trash can. We went to the small balcony to see the gulf...what a letdown. Between being so far back, and the convention center next door, little of the gulf could be seen. The ancient air conditioner seemed to work fine, but it was noisy, and the hot exhaust blowing onto the balcony, made it impossible to enjoy the meager view. The bed wasn't very comfortable, making it difficult to sleep. The one bright spot was the bathroom. It was nice, the toiletries provided were nice, and the giant bath towels were awesome! Overall, I was disappointed in my whole experience, and will choose different accomodations when I stay in Galveston in the future.

Hotel had good food with good hours, priced good for a hotel restaurant. Room could not have been nicer.

Cleanliness of the hotel was good. What I didn't like was the beds or pillows. Not comfortable. Everything else was fine.

Loved this hotel. It was super nice and clean. The staff was super friendly. Room service was perfect.

I ordered a room with a balcony, when I got there I noticed my invoice did not say that. Not a big deal.

Customer Service, location and cleanliness were all excellent at this Hilton located across from the beach. I would highly recommend staying there!

There was water on the floor, not sure where it was coming from.

The staff were great, polite, attentive, they ran to get a safety pin when I asked for that. Great service!! I expect to get a complementary breakfast, and wifi when I stay at a hotel. Wifi was free and available. But $16 for a breakfast buffet!! That's just way to much. I'm already paying more for a pretty hotel, yes it was pretty, and comfortable, but not a value. Especially this far out of season. Next time i'll look for a cheaper, but still clean hotel, with free breakfast, maybe my expectations are just set too high!

Room very nice but pricey but worth it. Very nice to wake up to the nice view, . The only thing was on the last day we seen a large water bug crawling on the wall. This was no big deal to us being from the country but not what you want to see in the type of hotel and the price we paid

We stayed in a king room with a gulf view patio. The room was a pretty good size and the bed was very, very comfortable! The patio was really small, but I just wanted to see the sunset over the gulf and it sufficed for that! Parking was convenient, the lobby and room were nicely decorated. We ate in the lobby restaurant, which was nice although prices weren't great. We never did get the wi-fi to connect, which was a little annoying... Overall, a good stay!

Lovely view from balcony. Watched the sun rise over the water each morning with a cup of coffee. Parking was a breeze. Will be back soon.

Great last minute trip and a great value for the location.

Did not have a good experience with this hotel. The hot water in the shower did not work for the first 2 out of 3 days we stayed there. Management was very unorganized and did not seem to communicate with each other at all. After wasting nearly a whole day as the maintenance men requested we stay in the room while they worked on the hot water, we were told we would have our bar tab from the previous day comped for the inconvenience. We were also told we would receive late check out at 2 and then were locked out of our hotel room at 12. Then upon check out we were told no one said we would receive a comped bar tab. We were told our only form of compensation would be a mailed offer for a free hotel stay at another time. Needless to say we will not be returning so the free future stay is useless.

Wow what a great stay I loved the serves and all the staff.. I cant wait to go back and spend more time with this group. So awesome.
