The bath tub was old and dirty and had not been maintained in years. Overall the bathroom was pretty gross and will not stay there again.
The one thing I didn't like is that a couple days prior to check in I was offered a upgrade through the app. At check in I mentioned it and the clerk acted as If he didn't jnow what I was talking about. I also mentioned that I was a Landrys Select Member and It didn't really matter to this attendant. Needless to say I didn't receive the upgrade I was offered and thought i was going to have. That was very disappointing and nind of embarrassing. Other than that the stay was great, the other staff were great especially the guys working the pool bar area.
I love the pool, workers constantly onsite cleaning, check-in was easy. I was the breakfast was free , even smaller hotels and motels give free breakfast or at least a lower price.
As far as the property and the room, all good. What I didn’t like was that I had to pay $8/night to park on the property and had to search and wait for a spot whenever I returned from being away because of nonresidents parking to attend events at the convention center next door! I also didn’t like the fact that after hours, I was expecting to have to use my keycard to enter the building but it was always unlocked and open for just Anyone to walk in.(Not happy about that!) On top of that, I’m already spending $200/night to stay here, the least the Hilton could do is have complimentary breakfast! I opted to take my wife to IHOP instead. Besides all of that, it was a nice place to stay being that it was close to Pleasure Pier which was why I booked at the Hilton.
Loved the heated pool and hot tub, very comfortable no matter what the weather is doing
Good hotel for families
This is such a beautiful hotel. All of the staff was so kind and helpful. The pool area has a swim up bar which is fun! We had a room with a beautiful beach view. We are already talking about coming back next year!

I am sorry to hear about your issue with the upgrade Chris. I will work with the team to ensure that if our guest's confirm the desire for the upgrade that we accomodate if possible. Sometimes when the request is put in, we may not have the room upgrade available, but the team should be able to communicate the situation to you.
