Staff customer service was great! However tub had rust inside which was unacceptable. Manager explained by booking room late no good room were available. I was put into another room. Now in the new room Fire alarm woke everybody up at 5am and manager said it was fixed but no fire. Tried calling front desk about the loud alarm but someone kept hanging up soon as soon as I said hello. I called twice. Everyone on the 3rd floor was in the hallway waiting to see if we need to evacuate. One thing I admired was when I checked in at 4pm they had the most polite hotel clerks in front. I just wish the hotel matched their personality.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Check in and check out was quick. Would definitely stay here again!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Check in was long. Mold around tub. Had to go buy cleaner to sterilize.

Extremely unclean. Elevator waiting area had some kind of red ketchup or salsa spilled all over the floor. I stayed for two days and it never got cleaned up. Bathroom in my room had nats or flies or something. Floors in hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in days. Or mopped from the hard floors

It was very close to the beach. Che I in went very smooth and quickly and the two times I went back to the desk and the staff was very helpful. The room is clean

Our room was not cleaned prior to us checking in- dirty towels and sheets, dirty bath tub, trash cans were full. When I asked the front desk if we could get someone to clean our room (especially during Covid) she replied that the cleaning crew was gone and then handed me clean sheets and towels and told me to handle it. I told her that one of the two of them at the front needed to do it, but she refused. I asked for something to actually disinfect the room with and she rolled her eyes then gave me the spray bottle of disinfectant solution. My husband went down later and asked for a comforter and she was very rude once again (like we were putting her out) and said they didn’t have any. We talked to the manager the next day and he gave us a clean one. We had problems like this during the entire 3 day stay. I understand this was one of the cheapest hotels we found (it was last minute during Memorial Day weekend) and you get what you pay for, but at least make sure the rooms are cleaned and sanitized prior to check in. Pool is a very average hotel pool. If you’re looking for more resort style pool and good customer service and clean facilities stay somewhere else.

The room wasn’t clean enough, I expected a room extra clean because the COVID. The bathtub had mold, I had to use flip flops to take a shower. I made a reservation with queen size bed and what I get was full size. I tried to call to front desk and no even the phone works. The ladies at front desk no friendly at all.

Was told that we could park our car during our Cruise for no charge. While checking out we were notified that there was a $50 fee for parking. Will never stay at a BW in Galveston again. To bad becuase it really is a nice property.
