Walls are paper thin, fights in the (outdoor) hallways, homeless wondering the property, ice machines don’t work, even the pillows don’t hold their shape. Trains blaring horns all hours of the day and night, sirens, overall I hope I never have to come back here…
This was a terrible stay. This is usually never the case at a La Quinta but this time it was. I had to change rooms twice because the shower had no running hot water. The second time apparently maybe they didn't believe me so they went up with me to see what was happening and then got the third room. There were vagrant roaming the property and as the night progressed it gets worse. Our last night someone kept trying to open our door to our room and had two restless nights. This should have been a celebration weekend for my daughter's birthday and this experience was not up to par.
The room was nice and clean however it was very humid, AC didn't do its job, have been waking up several times from humidity and woke up with mosquitos' bites. None of us including our puppy had a good rest after 8 hours driving. Glad it was for one night.
The place was located in a very bad area and was not secure at all. It had staff that were not trained. I had to bring my own supplies to my room. There were broken things in my room, including the thermostat. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless it's your only option.
I dis not like that the doors are outside and hass full access to the public. There was no security, homeless digging in the trash can making a mess and I DID NOT FEEL SAFE getting from my car to the room. Not a good area.
Breakfast needed more variety and was very crowded. Needed more seating.
The desk clerk was wonderful - cheerful and helpful. The room we were assigned had not been cleaned. We were quickly assigned a different room. The bathroom is in desperate need of updating.
Good internet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fairly good. OK neighborhood but I never felt unsafe. Well lit premises
Property claims it has been newly renovated but the bathroom had mold the shower head was rusty and stained with calcium. The walls in the room looked painted and the carpet and floor seem need but the bathroom was very disappointing. Also the parking is next to an abandoned building so there was a lot of activity day and night a lot of people in bikes wondering around and homeless digging through trash. Very disappointed in my stay.
This place was convenient to my meeting. The rooms have new flooring maybe but the overall condition of my doom was ok. The bathroom was musty. My room is close to the stairs and you can hear the noise. It seems like a safe place but the tree is covering some parts where their camera is located. This place reminds me of the old motel 6 and for some reason, I thought it would better. Overall for an overnight stay, it was ok.
The hallway to get to the room was very filthy as if the. Carpets have been vacuumed in days it seems like a construction mess in the hallway.
Good location, clean and friendly stuff ...............
