Convenient location to shopping/free parking/shuttle service and breakfast for guests

The staff were excellent and very helpful with whatever we asked of them!

Very nice room, super comfy bed and bedding. Clean throughout. Breakfast foods were not as warm as I would like, but very acceptable choices.

The staff was friendly and the young lady on duty when we checked in was fabulous (Sorry I did not get her name)

not only will they charge you more than what you pre-paid, they will also make copies of both your Drivers Lic AND debit card, they are also rude and will not give you the copy back.

First off it's not the most accessible to get to if your driving yourself, secondly it's an older establishment with a very tiny dated elevator. The hallways smelled terrible like raw fish and curry seasoning. The walls were paper thin and you could hear conversations in the next room. The beds are very firm, and the breakfast area is complete chaos every morning we where there so we ended up eating somewhere else, which defeated the purpose of getting a free breakfast! The staff working the counter and the shuttle van were very friendly, but the staff cleaning the rooms not so friendly! All in all I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it. We were first timers to visiting Washington DC and seeing all the Attractions and this hotel is about 8 miles away from the main attractions. If you use the shuttle van service keep in mine the van on holds 6 passengers and they use a mini van that you have to schedule in advance to transport you to the closes subway station which is Ballston-MU. The subway is the best way to get around DC. Use it ! It's cheap and the driving out there is pure hell!!

First floor rooms have window A/c that sucks the smoke from outside if someone is smoking nearby and the room was full of cigarette smell

We stayed here for one night for the cherry blossom festival in DC . Our room was super clean and nice. We asked for extra comforter and the front desk employee was very courteous about it and provided us with pillow as well. Breakfast was good. Best part about this hotel is the location. Its only 8 miles from DC and there are plenty of restaurants and super markets surrounding it.

One complaint: the electrical outlet I the bathroom was worn out. So everything we plugged into it wouldn't stay plugged in on its own. Beds were marginally comfortable. Staff was nice and extremely helpful.

The overall stay was fine, we got what we paid for in a Comfort Inn type place. Breakfast included was a good value, pool was decent size for kids. BUT, don't rely on their free shuttle service. We waited for over a half an hour and ended up having to pay for a cab ride on our dime!!

Literally, especially if you are arriving at night, don't miss the hidden entrance. Aside from that mishap, this was a convenient stay. If you are going into DC, there is shuttle bus service to the metro stop a few times in the a.m., and pick up service a few times in the p.m. Though I had a feeling they weren't tied to the schedule and would be accommodating. It is maybe a 20 minute ride to get to the metro, but it worked out well for us. The staff truly was helpful.

The front desk staff were helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. However it is close to a very busy highway. Still, all things considered, I would stay here again.

It was okay. The room desk could have been larger and the hotle could not direct me to a local car rental agency which I found odd. The day time front desk personnel didn't seem to care much about customer service as I had to wait for the desk clerk to finish a conversation with a fellow employee before i was engaged in conversation.

good breakfast, quiet sleep, nice location (but they were paving the parking lot.)

I didn't realize I would be placed in the basement d/t my smoking - next time I will book a non smoking room and just go outside to smoke. The room I was assigned was about 60 years old; a plug in air freshener would have been extremely helpful (or perhaps just bring my own plug in air fresherner).

Pretty basic, no luxury but very clean and accomodating. The shuttle service to the metro station was helpful but would have been better if it ran more often and later into the evening. We had to organize our days according to the times the shuttle ran. Also, would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.

We are sorry for any confusion but a prepaid room reservation only pays for the room, not a security deposit or an allowance for possible incidental charges.

We are very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay at our hotel. We apologize for any odor you smelled in the corridors and while we did not find that we will certainly focus on that area. It is great to hear you found our driver and desk staff friendly and helpful, we will speak with our housekeeping team about the importance of this. Thank you for staying with us.
