Not what I was expecting. This place is a dump!!! It needs a lot of updating, room ceilings look really bad, several water stains on the walls, hardwood floors look really bad. Black kinky hair on my bed and the pillow cases. Placed a do not disturb sign on my door, they came in anyway.
Stayed at this hotel on business recently. First, let me say that the staff was excellent - quick check in and out, very nice bartender - overall no complaints. Also the common areas were nice and the location was perfect. However, my room needed some upgrading. My bathtub was peeling and had those shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers instead of actual toiletries. Paint chipping and a little shabby. I also wish they had more outlets for charging - I had to unplug some my alarm clock to charge my computer while working on it and my cell phone was across the room. Bed was comfortable however and I would consider staying here again as the price was quite reasonable.
I was in town for business and stayed at Four Points by Sheraton. There's lots to do around hotel - shopping and food! The staff was truly accommodating and so nice. I would highly recommend staying here and will be back for every trip.
Very clean, nice staff, McDonlds sits in front, gas station/store next to McDonalds. Steak and shake next door. Great location just off the highway, 15-20 from Ohio State, 15-20 to downtown Columbus. Rooms are large with a sleep sofa. Nice lounge/ bar area, pool just outside.
As a business traveler who spends between 70 and 90 nights a year in hotels, I feel I have an objective view of suburban hotels. My recent two night stay at the Sheraton Four Points for a family get together in Columbus was objectively a good experience with good value for money. To begin, the rooms were clean, smelled fresh, were well lit, and the bathrooms were clean with ample towels. Beds were very comfortable. The AC unit was well adjusted and quiet in my room. To be clear, this is not a new hotel and there are occasional scratches in the unusual hardwood-like laminate floors in the hallways. The room I stayed in had clean carpeting with no signs of wear. Desk staff were helpful when we arrived at 1:30 PM and had one of our two rooms available even though check-in is 3PM. Our second room was available shortly after. There is coffee available in the room which was not bad. Internet service was reasonable. Likewise, in one room, a previous guest had spilled coffee on the upholstered chair in the room and when pointed out to housekeeping, they had a cleaner in within minutes, apologized for missing the stains, and had it fixed. We did not eat in the hotel. This is a limited service hotel with room service available but there are so many restaurants within a 5 minute drive, we did not feel the need to use the hotels. People were gathered at the hotel bar for a beer and chat and service seemed reasonable.I also used the fitness room twice during my stay and all equipment was clean and functional. This is not a high-end property nor is the price a high-end one. It was good value, clean, and pleasant which is exactly what I was looking for. I would be happy to stay here in the future.
I've stayed at this hotel probably 10+ times over the past 2 years, and have status with Starwood, so have reasonable expectations for the brand. Unfortunately, on my last visit the hotel seems to be showing some wear and tear that has not been adequately addressed. I previously like and have highly rated the hotel, but can only give it 3 stars this time. Here were the problems I encountered: - Checkin system was down (I understand computer problems happen but it took a long time to resolve) - Internet was non-functional throughout my 1-night stay (it may have been the room which was at the far end of the hotel) - There was damage to the ceiling of my room that looked like water damage (I was on the top floor) - One of the hand towels in my room was dirty (yuck). On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the bar area is nice and welcoming, the staff are friendly and it is convenient for Polaris area. While I normally stay in this hotel for my Columbus trips, I will probably look for alternatives on my next trip.
3 rooms booked at this hotel for a weekend. Rooms dirty, False pantry charges, Wall/window heater so loud we turned it off and just delt with being chilly in the room.....Do yourself a favor and don't do what we did...spend the extra $20 for a room somewhere else.....This one don't measure up to other four points we have stayed at.
The beds were fabulous! The road was clean. The "wood" floors in the hallway were badly scratched and gouged and loose in some areas. There was free bottled water in the rooms. I was disappointed that there was not a fridge in the room. That seems pretty standard in most rooms nowadays. Housekeeping took the bath towels and didn't leave fresh ones. Had to down to the lobby in the morning to get new ones. It was an "OK" stay but not sure I'd come back.
Stayed here on a Friday evening as a weekend get away. Nice stay, no problems. Room seemed very clean. Bed and pillows were great for being 30 weeks pregnant! Overall good stay! Would stay again! Check in and out was a breeze.
This is the worst hotel ever: Upon entering my room for the first time all cupboard draws were pulled out The next morning I had to fight to get someone to take my breakfast order - there was only one other customer. My colleague and I ordered eggs, porridge and 2 fruit salads. The salads never came. Upon reminding the waitress she brought one fruit salad only. We had again to ask for the next one. It is not always possible to enter my room as the key fails to work. Upon returning at night my room was not made. I told reception about it. They were not bothered at all. For the next morning I ordered room service breakfast which never showed up. I tried to call reception to find out that my phone was not connected. So I went to the restaurant and found out that my breakfast could not be delivered because they mixed up the room number. They then handed me over a cold cooked breakfast, which I had to insist that it is at least warmed in the microwave. It is easier to get what you need for breakfast when you speak Spanish. English does not seem to work very well. Gym cross trainer did not work. OMG this is the weirdest place I have ever stayed at.
