Upon checking in with a gentleman named Donnie he also was the bartender, and cook he was incredibly polite , and showed awesome multi tasking skills ,all while making me feel like as if I was at home. Just wanted to let everybody know, what a great representation of what a hotel manager would enjoy having as a staff member and a member of his / hers team . Recongnition of good help . Room was clean and my stay was enjoyable .I clearly would like to thank Four Point Sheraton and Donnie ..Thanks
The lobby was nice looking, however the newer flooring sounded hollow and clunky. There was an attempt to update the rooms but the workmanship was substandard. The grouting in the bathroom tile was messy and uneven. There was a floor transition strip missing from the 3rd floor elevator. The room had very insufficient electrical outlets. I had to climb under the table to plug in my phone. I also had to unplug the clock, under the nightstand, to iron my clothes. I was not very impressed with the overall quality of the updates. The front desk staff was very nice, however they spoke too fast to fully understand what the amenities were. They should be trained to slow down when explaining the amenities to the new guests.
We had very bad customer service. Specifically, when we checked out, the clerk was rude and acted put out by having to wait on us. The room wasn't clean. Both the bed and the pullout couch that my daughter slept on had dirty sheets. The hotel was overbooked and were out of linens. There were three bags of trash as we got off the elevator. The hall temperature was unbearable hot. And, we were told the room rate included breakfast, which it did not. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
It was great family had a great time nice staff. I loved the location and everyone was really helpful would go back ant time.Rooms was great nice and clean. Loved the location and how easy it was to get too .
Very Average Hotel that is in need of upgrades. The floors have divots in the floor as if they held a golf tournament in the hallways. Our lamp shade fell off the lamp when we turned the light on, the TV did not work but was finally fixed along with the lamp shade. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice but things in general were badly needed upgrades. The breakfast was not very impressive buy tolerable. The young lady working there was cordial. The staff was pleasant but the hotel needs upgrades all over.
Not what I was expecting. This place is a dump!!! It needs a lot of updating, room ceilings look really bad, several water stains on the walls, hardwood floors look really bad. Black kinky hair on my bed and the pillow cases. Placed a do not disturb sign on my door, they came in anyway.
Stayed at this hotel on business recently. First, let me say that the staff was excellent - quick check in and out, very nice bartender - overall no complaints. Also the common areas were nice and the location was perfect. However, my room needed some upgrading. My bathtub was peeling and had those shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers instead of actual toiletries. Paint chipping and a little shabby. I also wish they had more outlets for charging - I had to unplug some my alarm clock to charge my computer while working on it and my cell phone was across the room. Bed was comfortable however and I would consider staying here again as the price was quite reasonable.
I was in town for business and stayed at Four Points by Sheraton. There's lots to do around hotel - shopping and food! The staff was truly accommodating and so nice. I would highly recommend staying here and will be back for every trip.
Very clean, nice staff, McDonlds sits in front, gas station/store next to McDonalds. Steak and shake next door. Great location just off the highway, 15-20 from Ohio State, 15-20 to downtown Columbus. Rooms are large with a sleep sofa. Nice lounge/ bar area, pool just outside.
As a business traveler who spends between 70 and 90 nights a year in hotels, I feel I have an objective view of suburban hotels. My recent two night stay at the Sheraton Four Points for a family get together in Columbus was objectively a good experience with good value for money. To begin, the rooms were clean, smelled fresh, were well lit, and the bathrooms were clean with ample towels. Beds were very comfortable. The AC unit was well adjusted and quiet in my room. To be clear, this is not a new hotel and there are occasional scratches in the unusual hardwood-like laminate floors in the hallways. The room I stayed in had clean carpeting with no signs of wear. Desk staff were helpful when we arrived at 1:30 PM and had one of our two rooms available even though check-in is 3PM. Our second room was available shortly after. There is coffee available in the room which was not bad. Internet service was reasonable. Likewise, in one room, a previous guest had spilled coffee on the upholstered chair in the room and when pointed out to housekeeping, they had a cleaner in within minutes, apologized for missing the stains, and had it fixed. We did not eat in the hotel. This is a limited service hotel with room service available but there are so many restaurants within a 5 minute drive, we did not feel the need to use the hotels. People were gathered at the hotel bar for a beer and chat and service seemed reasonable.I also used the fitness room twice during my stay and all equipment was clean and functional. This is not a high-end property nor is the price a high-end one. It was good value, clean, and pleasant which is exactly what I was looking for. I would be happy to stay here in the future.
