The Westin Cincinnati

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay at the Westin. We go to downtown Cincinnati often to visit friends, so this hotel worked out great because it was within walking distance of everything downtown and only a short drive to other parts of the city.

Upon checking in at 4pm, my family of 4 were “upgraded to a king suite since our room with 2 double beds was not ready yet. Upon entering the room and doing the usual check around, we found that the room had not been properly cleaned and reassembled. Being a king suite on the 16th floor, this room doubles as a meeting room. As such, we noticed that the sheets on both the Murphy bed and pull out couch had not been change in quite some time. They were both cover in dust and dead gnats. When opening the couch, old leftover food on the floor was noticeable. End table were noticeably covered in dust. The shower had broken tiles surrounding the base. There was even left over cream cheese in the refrigerator. Also a noticeable dripping stain on the inside on the door. As we left for our dinner reservation and concert, I spoke with the front desk staff to ask for a clean room when we got back. During this time someone went to the room to look at our concerns. While we did get another room upon return, we noticed that someone had stolen a bottle of wine from the room while we were gone. I reported the missing wine and was told I must have left my door open, even though everything else was left untouched. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a last resort. Location is great, but my experience with a dirty room, wine theft and lack of professionalism from the hotel staff, would only allow me to recommend this hotel in case of emergency only.

Went to a Reds game and stayed at one of my favorite hotels. Centrally located to restaurants and shopping.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Liked that the lobby had a place for food, coffee.

We checked in late which may have contributed to our experience but we waited about 10 minutes to check in- there were several staff members at the front desk but they didn't acknowledge us or apologize for the wait. Once we were checking in, the attendant was very nice. the room was comfortable with a great view of Fountain Square. The bed had some hair on it which was off putting to say the least. This is the first less than excellent stay I've had with the Westin, usually my experience is superb.

My stay at the Westin was the best hotel experience I've had! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the room was extremely clean. I was initially impressed with the hotel even before arriving when the staff accommodated an early check in time for us with no problems whatsoever, and the experience only got better from there. We traveled for a concert and the location of the hotel is right in the middle of downtown, so everything was within walking distance which was fabulous. The bed in the room was the most comfortable hotel bed that I've ever slept on. We will definitely be staying at The Westin Cincinnati again!

Great location, updated and clean. We had to wait 90min past check-in and I just expect some sort of offer from customer service, like a complimentary drink or breakfast or even a bottle of water. I wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience.

Staff was very friendly. Conveniently located just across Fountain Square, and along the new streetcar's route. Hotel offered great amenities like the gym and an indoor pool—which is rare for a downtown Cincinnati hotel. Room was very comfortable, from the bed to the towels. Room was clean and in good condition.

This hotel is in the heart of Cincinnati. Close to great restaurants and a short walk to the riverfront and stadiums.

Nice room, stay was okay. couldn't control temperature in the room.

Nice hotel, good location. Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Walkways can get you to other hotels and restaurants.

Great city center location! Allowed us to walk to and from our dinner and concert. Rooms freshened recently and more than met our expectations. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Love the gym Love the hot tub and heated indoor pool Loved my bed and could have paid extra for beautiful view, but for one nighat and plenty of places to walk, didn't need it. Go to The taste of Belgium for breakfast!!!

Hotel is right in front of Fountain Square. Lots of shopping and many restaurants within walking distance. Hotel Bar is very nice (expensive drinks, but your paying for location and the view).

We had to travel to a large convention, so the area was crowded with cheerleaders. The staff was super nice and everything was very clean.

Very central - right across from the main square of Cincinnati. Room was clean and upscale, and the staff were great - they usually charge 10 bucks for wifi but they comped me. Highly recommended for business travelers in Cincinnati!

Spent just one night at the Westin for our anniversary since we stayed there 33 yrs. ago the night we married. The room and bath were quite nice with a great view of Fountain Square. Location terrific--walked south to Kentucky, north to Washington Park, to the casino and enjoyed great restaurants and entertainment. Nicer than we expected!

Nothing special compared to any other "high-end" hotel I have stayed in

Accommodations were excellent. Convenient to so many attractions including restaurants downtown.

The Westin is located in the heart of downtown Cinci and a great place to stay. It is in walking distance of all the restaurants, bars and arenas as well.
