Hyatt Regency Cleveland At The Arcade

I visited Cleveland over Labor Day to go see the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. I chose the Hyatt Regency because of its location. I was impressed from the moment I arrived at the hotel and was warmly greeted by a valet parking attendant. My check-in was handled quickly and professionally by the front desk staff, who even helped me figure out the key card entry to the elevators! My room was spacious and comfortable--I had room for everything, and a nice view. I was extremely impressed by the Arcade, with the events taking place in the evenings, and the convenience of being close to the city's entertainment district, which put me in easy walking distance of restaurants, clubs, and gift shops. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job cleaning my room every day, and I was ably assisted by the front desk staff in finding directions to local attractions, and getting maps for the city. Cleveland, as a whole, is a true gem, and the wonderful people at the Hyatt Regency helped make my first visit there a truly great and satisfying experience--I will definitely recommend the Hyatt Regency to all my friends and family, and I can't wait to return!

the hotel is quite run down and the restaurant is terrible. we went there to get breakfast and it was close to $20 for the buffet - it was worse than holiday inn free breakfast buffet. the chairs are all horribly stained, the plates wet, and the food awful. the only thing good was the service (our server was really nice)

It was to long & I don't have time for all this balcony ok....

Found a good last minute deal, so picked it over some other good options. First off, according to the staff the hotel is going through renovations and therefore not all rooms are available. I requested an E 4th view but they gave me a Superior Ave view. Very loud in the a.m. The biggest issue I had was being woken up at 8am by someone yelling in the hall and then banging on my door. This is with the Do Not Disturb out. They banged twice -- I had to get up and go to the door to tell them to leave me alone. Very rude. When I complained to the front desk, they took no responsibility saying it was contractors that don't work for them. Not what one would expect from Hyatt.

It is a beautiful hotel in an amazing building. Centrally located in downtown close to lots of great shops and restaurants.

I booked this hotel on a whim so that my wife and I could celebrate her birthday and our anniversary the room included breakfast (remember this fact). The day started great as we met my cousin and his girlfriend in one of the downtown sports bars to watch Ohio State football. Upon arrival at the hotel, we pulled up to the valet which was jam packed with cars and a few delivery vans. After more tha 15 minutes of waiting I decided to circle the block to find a garage. After finding a place to park, we walked past the valet station and observed a group of valets standing around talking but not moving cars. There were no bellmen on duty either. When we checked in we were told that we couldn't use the main arcade floor because it was closed for a private event. The reason that I booked here was because of the arcade. After spending the evening in some very nice local clubs and the casino, we went back and retired. I want to mention that the room was nice, clean and comfortable. The next morning we went to check out and I asked about the breakfast. We were directed to a nice restaurant in the arcade and had a nice breakfast. The server presented me with a bill for $38.75, I asked her about the included breakfast and she said that I would have to present my room key. Of course I paid the bill but thought that I would enquire about this at the desk. I stoped at the desk and was told to just present my key. I reminded them that they had just taken my key when they sent us to the resta

The bed was comfortable, the staff was polite, the breakfast was awesome--it was included in our stay.

Visiting downtown Cleveland for the first time. Town is coming back but still needs more restuarants and has little retail.

My second time there on business. Very nice rooms if you are in the towers away from the arcade part.

The hotel is extremely nice and is centrally located to many major sites in the city. Extremely happy with my stay. Fantastic everything.

The hotel was clean and easy to get to. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The Arcade building is beautiful and the architecture is amazing to look at. The down side was most of the shops/ stores are closed and there is not a lot going on in the building. The toilet and shower in our room leaked but the room was clean.

We were only there overnight but everything was lovely. Only sort of disappointment is that the arcade shops are not full of thriving businesses. It is a shame that most of the spaces are not being used. The hotel staff is beyond friendly and helpful from the front desk staff to the elevator desk to the housekeepers. Thank you for being so welcoming!

Lobby under construction and they had no signs for directions. Elevators don't work well and rooms need updating.

Waking distance from all the sights, museums ballparks and restaurants ! Staff was excellent and provided superior customer service

The hotel looks old and rustic on the outside , and when you walk in, it's simply stunning. It reminds you of when Dorothy sees Oz for the first time in color. They have shops and restaurants , and the location was perfect. It was a few blocks from the rapid transit and horseshoe casino. I would recommend it highly !!

Everything was perfect staff location, value. Our first time in downtown Cleveland and we will be back to this hotel.

This hotel's location is so convenient! Just a short ten minute walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame out the front door. Just steps out the rear entry is East 4th street...a really cool place with restaurants and bars. Just a few steps further is Quicken Loans Arena. The location and the architectural aspects of the building. This place has it all. Use the valet and never need your car the while weekend.

I'be walked through the arcade many times on my trips to Cleveland, and always marked it as a great place to bring my wife when we got the opportunity. The Garth Brooks show got scheduled, my wife go tickets, and I knew where we'd be staying. Our stay was great! Every staff member was courteous and helpful, the arcade view room was beautiful, and you can't beat the location. I've stayed at other hotels in the area, and this has been by far my favorite and best experience. I highly recommend it.

The hotel was in a great location but was severely over priced. Their was mold in the bathroom. The room was extremely small, no fridge or in room coffee even. Every noise coming from the arcade was heard in our room. Not peaceful.

I was dissapointed that my wife and i were placed in a broom closet. Well not exactly. But we were in a back room with no view to the lobby. The bathroom was not really clean. And the headboard had a big greasy smudge the size of a human head and a greasy handprint. Upon checkout the next day i was informed if i had asked i could have had a room in the beautiful lobby.
