An outdated hotel with a glorious history. As a historic artifact, it is interesting. As a hotel per se, not so much. Certainly not for the price paid (although this could have been affected by Bengals and FC Cincinnati games during the weekend). Finally, the ATM in the lobby ran out of cash in the middle of my transaction (I've got $40 less than my card was charged) and the front desk attendant replied to me - it is not our business, you have to contact the financial institution that handles this ATM. Maybe so, but the feeling I've got was that Hilton just robbed me.

Overall I love this hotel! The only issue was the condition of the hotel room itself. The bedding and stained and had tears in the fabric. The toilet was absolutely disgusting, sprayed toilet water all over the bathroom with every flush, so much that the toilet seat was soaking wet each time I went to use it. The shower head was so calcified that the water was shooting sideways all over the walls and ceiling. If I didnt love this hotel as much as I do, the bathroom would have been enough for me to never return.

Great staff and location, run down conditions

Hotel is old and it shows. The employees are great, very nice and attentive. It is safe and no issues with anything. 1931 restaurant food was good, but when it got busy the service faltered. Except the hotel is not in great shape, buckled walls, damage to baseboards, paint on the bathroom door was peeling and the shower curtain had mold on it. Wouldn't honestly stay there again. Which is a shame to be fair as everyone who worked there was lovely.

This property needs a serious update. Out dated and old and gloomy- (think of The Shining). There was no room service available- food and drinks were impossible to get in the main bar area- apparently the bar tender walked out that day- meanwhile the manager was chanting with the patrons at the bar while his team was hustling frantically. Rooms were small and not what was expected. However for the price, we got what we paid for.

Not a bad place old with cool history. Had room service not replace towels, left dirty glasses on table for 2 days& parking was a challenge.

Went to football game and was allowed to check in early. Once game was over went back to room to order room service. Was told room service was not availbe. For the money paid for hotel should not be limited in service.

I was very disappointed by this property. I love the art deco style, and it was widely regarded as one of the premier hotels in Cincinnati, but it has fallen. I hope Hilton can revitalize the area, because having paint on the valances and no pain on the walls is a new "luxury" hotel experience for me.
