All great except no complementary breakfast or coffee, which I had not noticed in the writeup about the place.
I ordered a room with two beds but was told that they only had rooms with one bed when I checked in at the hotel. The employee at the front desk, who was very helpful and should be considered an asset by their employer, was able to finally get me and my two teenage kids the two-bed room we needed. I would definitely call the front desk after making a reservation on Orbitz to confirm that the reservation is correct in the future.
Front desk friendly. Our room was clean. The price was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than where we normally stay. The location was close to a family member. Our room was in the back of the building and the trash that was in the woods out our window was not appealing not sure if it was the hotel’s property. The dining area on the two mornings we went seemed like a lot of places totally understaffed.
The met my expectations. Will likely book again when we are in area visiting family.
Bed was uncomfortable, and construction being done in hotel was an unpleasant site.
It was a good stay
Satisfactory for price. Biggest gripe: “Bistro” dinner was -strange-. Single order of Brussel sprouts was large, meal sized box fully loaded. Same for fries. Strange would have thought each would have been “serving size” 1/3 or 1/4 the size. Too large, wasteful and expensive for variety unless shared among a family.
There was definite wear and tear that was very noticeable.
Business traveler. Hotel was clean, easy to find and safe. The hotel bar has a limited menu which is very good as a backup meal, late. The bar was not well staffed with the one component bar tender consistently missing. Obviously everyone is short staffed due to COVID so they deserve a past. Bottom line, I have to make trips to DC every month for the next few months and I plan to stay here.
I really enjoyed my stay! It is not like the fancier hotels I usually book, so I was nervous. However, the hotel was clean and cozy. The staff was amazing! The gym was extremely clean and only one guest was allowed at a time per Covid guidelines. I could workout safely and happily! I’m looking forward to my next stay!!
It looked a lil sketch on the outside but once i steppe through the doors it was nice.. no microwave in the room though.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff especially at the reception.
