When checking in with our family of 4, we were told that they did not have 2 queen beds in our room, as our reservation had confirmed. When asked why we didn't have our room that we had booked, we were informed that "it's the right room, just not the right number of beds". We were drop jawed and could not believe that was actually an excuse. We ended up having to ask for a roll away (which they left in the hallway without bedding). When we finally got the bedding, they threw it on top of the bed in the hallway. When asked if they were going to put the bed in our room and make it, we got a nice "huh???" From the housekeeper. We gave up on that one and asked if we could just get more bath towels, as there were only 2 in our room. About 2 hours later we were given a couple of wash clothes and hand towels. After a restless nights sleep with our 4 year old in bed with us, we went to breakfast to be informed that the hard boiled eggs had just been taken away, due to them being rotten. A mom next to me stated that her son noticed that they didn't smell right and was thankful he did not try to eat it. I think we have definilty decided never to stay at this chain of hotels again.

Amy, was great! Great staff, very convenient, will be back.

Very convenient and everything is a walking distance around you. The discovery museum is right next to it as well as the aquarium and the imax theatre. Staff is very nice and pleasant.

Hotel is in great location for the aquarium and children's museum. Very helpful staff!

No amenities, out dated rooms, mattresses are uncomfortable, bar was never open and they charge you for everything even parking.

Very clean, professional staff extremely accommodating. Awesome location for hitting the downtown attractions. Had a room with a private balcony and jacuzzi in the room which was epic on a relaxing level. Bed was comfortable. Thumbs up from me.

Hotel was in perfect location for walking to great, local eating spots. Also could easily walk to river and catch the dinner cruise on Saturday night. Would absolutely stay in this hotel again.

My wife and I stayed for one night in a junior king suite. The room was very clean except for the outside of the door, which had some ugly smudges. Inside it was comfortable, with bedroom and sitting room, two nice TVs, microwave, refrigerator, and a good single-cup coffee maker. A bottled water would have been nice as the sink water was not that good to drink. The bed, pillows, and sheets were very nice. The location was very good, 2 blocks from the aquarium, 3 blocks from the river walk, and right across the street from some kind of stadium (which might be noisy on game night?) We had the breakfast buffet, which was varied and tasty with eggs cooked to order and good service. Also we asked to stay until 12 rather than 11 and that was fine. There was a small indoor pool and hot tub, but we didn't get the chance to try them. We did pay $10 each for the breakfast and $ 9 for parking (which was a surprise), and the room was $222 before these charges. Overall I appreciated the comfort and cleanliness, and will have high expectations of Hilton Garden Inns in the future, but I would like to pay a little less.

-No room service! -Cramped rooms -2 beds, one nightstand (I guess there wasn't room for more furniture.) -Gross wallpaper that was painted over in places (I expect better ambiance at a Hilton!) -This is one of those hotels that will not clean your sheets and replace the towels everyday unless you request it (Under the guise of being green..Let's call it what it is: being cheap). Again, this is a Hilton; I expect more. I'll be green for the other 51 weeks out of the year. Let me have my vacation without any "green" guilt. K? -They charge you for the parking ($8/day) even though this is not mentioned or posted anywhere. Also, the parking lot was full (Hilton shares it with the Chilrden's Museum), and we were turned away multiple times--still had to pay at the end of the stay! -Great location!

Hotel is located right in the heart of everything. My family and I walked to the Aquarium, restaurants, the Children's Museum, the riverfront, etc. I just wish there were more quiet/intimate spaces to retreat to. Too much foot traffic in the main floor lounge area.

the hotel was good i stayed there with my college son and would stay there again

Great value and perfect location for a nice little weekend getaway.

A positive experience overall, not many places to eat in the area over the weekend and the breakfast bar was a little steep for what was offered

The hotel is right next to the Children's Museum and a block away from the Aquarium. The ball park was right there as well. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was modern and clean. There is a pool area that is open 24 hours and we will definitely stay again when we go back to Chattanooga. The breakfast buffet was $10 a person and had just about anything you could want. Our 3 year old ate free.

Hilton was great! Close to all the fun in Chattanooga. Very clean hotel with great service. Will definitely be back.

You are in Downtown Chattanooga within walking distance to the Aquarium and right next door to the Discovery Childrens Museum. You are also within walking distance to the waterfront and several restaurants. Some hotels advertise they are "Downtown" Chattanooga but they are not. The rooms are really clean, the staff was very nice and friendly. I will definately stay there again.

Nice weekend getaway. Most attractions in walking distance. Pool was extremely small, and hours for it and whirlpool, not convenient. Desk employees were superb. Housekeeping staff were loud and rude. Kept trying to enter our room well before check-out time.

Management Staff very nice.Other staff fairly nice. Room was nice, location was great, hotel was smaller than looked on line. StarBucks was out of caffine coffee. Pool very small. Spa was broken. Location could not have been better for downtown attractions. Took carriage ride downtown. Went back to Chattanoog Choo Choo for Dinner at the Station House.AWESOME. Choo Choo has many more amenities, much larger hotel. If want on site entertainment, Choo Choo much better. If you intend to just be close to other attractions Garden Hotel was fine. Not much on site though.

The hotel was in the perfect location to enjoy all the development of the riverfront area. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was very hot and humid when we were there but the rooms were very comfortable and cool. The room was large with a nice sized desk with internet connection.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Chattanooga is definately above average when compared to the alternatives in the Tennesse Valley, but it hardly seems worth the price. Some of my beefs have more to do with policies than the specific location or staff. Why do hotels close up the amenities as such an early hour? Once you get back to your hotel after seeing the city, everything is closed: the pool, the fitness center, the lounge. Are those amenities only for people who don't actually go out to see the local attractions? This is a nice hotel, but it hardly justifies the rate. If they had thrown in a jacuzzi tub, giving me something to enjoy in the hotel after hours, I would reconsider paying thier rate again.
