If you're looking for a room Monday through Friday, be prepared to spend $169-$189 for a room unless your company is paying for it. Non business travels can get a room here for $100-$110 Saturday or Sunday as business folks are not typically staying over. The rooms are clean and typical of most Marriotts. The coffee is on you not them and nothing is free in the morning but a USA Today paper and of course your bill, which has to be paid.
Loved the hotel the staff was very friendly and helpful the indoor pool was nice and opened later than most the bar was awesome and over all a great place to stay and play room was very clean and quiet
Staff, room, pool, Starbucks...all what you come to expect from the chain. Updated lobby however the pool and rooms are needing that touch, however super clean and safe! My pet peeve is why cant the TVs in these places be better? always seems like a waste of a HD TV when 80% of the content is SD.
This was a very nice place to stay. This hotel had a bar and a menu with a variety of food items. The appetizers and salads were very good. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would stay at this hotel again.
Our family had two rooms at this property and really enjoyed visiting the area. Both rooms were clean and well kept. The pullout sofa bed had linens available within the room, which is always a good touch. We have stayed at properties that keep the linens at the front desk and this can be a huge inconvenience. We were able to get some great rest after swimming at the indoor pool. The water was warm and comforting.
While this hotel isn't going to wow you in any capacity, it delivers on all reasonable expectations and delivers well. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, check-in was quick. Very tall ceilings in our 1st floor room, which I like. I think the price is a little bit steep, but it's worth it to ensure a stress-free stay.
This hotel is like any other, except the staff and the barkeep really take it to that next level. All the staff were so helpful. Unlike every hotel bar in the universe, this one was fun to go to and hang out in. Mike is good people. The rooms were clean, well appointed and the beds comfy. Definitely would return!
We arrived to the hotel a little after 11pm and were promptly checked in with no hesitation from the gentlemen working the front desk that night. We were in a 2 queen room, 3rd floor in the middle of the hotel and it was absolutely huge! There was plenty of room for us along with the standard mini fridge and coffee pot. There was plenty of hot water, great linens and the most AMAZING beds ever!!! I never find a bed that comfortable and for me (softer side) they were great! We had a hassle free check out and was overall very happy with our stay! Not one single complaint and we will absolutely stop again when traveling South!
This is a motel-hotel in a somewhat far-flung part of Charlotte, so my expectations were adjusted accordingly. The room was fine. Good-ish. The bathroom was not "spectacular" but it was up to standard for this type of place. The bed was too soft and it was not a great mattress. I would have given the place three stars except for the following. Had breakfast at the café area downstairs. I ordered an omelet, fresh strawberries, and coffee. When the strawberries came they were in a plastic up and had been cut the day before. I looked at them and they were like brownish and drying out, and I just decided not to make an issue of it. The omelet came and it was awesome. And then the café attendant came over and said that he had seen me look at the strawberries and that they were obviously not good so he was going to get new ones for me. Out came a very fresh cup of strawberries. I was a happy camper. And so I lived to fight another day. :)
This has to be the thinnest walls we have stayed in. We had to call the office at 1 am to ask the people next door to quiet it down. Not like they were having a party just you hear every sound. Bed was hard. We will never stay here again. For a marriott you would expect better
