Went for our 20th anniversary--first trip to Charleston. Loved the hotel which was right across the street from the market

Excellent staff with old world charm. I love this place

Staff extremely accommodating. I was leaving in early morning. Staff went out of way to provide a take away breakfast.

Close to everything. Excellent restaurant attached to hotel (Peninsular Grill). Outstanding staff

Staff was very friendly. Peninsula grill was excellent - very European.

Nice hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. One big hit was that part of it was under construction when we went, without warning. The work included hammering and sawing that could be heard clearly from our room starting at 8am. They did move us to another room when we requested it, but couldn't help thinking what we would have done if they had been full! Second big hit is that not all rooms have bathtubs. I called ahead to ensure ours did, but that was first room next to the construction (!!!), so by the time they moved us the only room available was shower only.

Nice place, great staff, great location , would recommend to people

My mother and I stayed here for one night in Charleston. Perfect location, helpful and friendly staff, clean, and charming decor. Wound definitely recommend to others!

Beautiful clean room. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Room AC could not keep up with the summer heat in Charleston; would be cool but never dry. Reminded me of cheap hotel AC. Otherwise location, staff and facilities were very good.

Recurring visit - will become an annual visit to a charming city and an extraordinary hotel!

Wonderful hotel! Gracious southern hospitality with great attention to details. Accommodations were exceptionally clean, comfortable and inviting. The staff was available and helpful, always attentive to and anticipating our needs. We look forward to our next visit to Charleston.

From the moment we pulled up, until the moment we left, we were treated like family at The Planters Inn. Great snacks in the living room daily, and really nice complimentary beverages as well. The room was great, air conditioning worked well, and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Charleston.

Great location. Nice staff. Very comfortable bed. Large room. Clean. Expensive parks by at $27 per day.

I couldn't have asked for a better planned long Thanksgiving weekend. I called the hotel prior to making my final plans and spoke with Jack at the front desk, which really was the decision maker. I arrived on Thanksgiving afternoon, we were warmly greeted and found every detail was handled perfectly. The location was perfect, the hotel staff warm and friendly. Two thumbs up for a cleaning crew you never saw, but when you came back to your room whether it be during the day or for turn down service, your room spotless. I recommend for its location, its small boutique feel and excellent customer service.

From the time that we arrived until the time we left, the staff was exceptional. Bellmen William was most helpful, getting us moved in and parking our car. The registration and check out could not have been easier. Our room was taken care of and was immaculate. We highly recommend this Charleston gem.

Our room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. We were in room 404 and had a nice view down Meeting Street and was very quiet. The staff were very pleasant to talk with. They gave us good directions to take a Harbor Boat Tour and a carriage ride. From this Inn you can walk all through the historic district. It was nice to come back to the Planter's Inn in the afternoon for Lemonaide. Maid servie was excellent.

Hotel was above average in all areas except charges for parking and breakfast. These charges should be included at your current rate. This was a great experience and this was our second or third trip to your beautiful hotel. We'll be back!!!!

Wonderful location, walking distance form all the fun downtown stuff and restaurants. Very nice continental breakfast for only $10!! Peninnusla grill in the hotel is fabulous restaurant. Staff was more than helpful
