Hotel was in the center of everything. It was walking distance to what we wanted to do. Beautifully decorated for Christmas.

This hotel is beautiful and clean. The amenities are great and we loved the rainfall shower. Only complaint is that most of the rooms are adjoined so it can be noisy if you have loud neighbors. Otherwise it's a fabulous hotel and within walking distance of all the restaurants, shopping and museums in downtown Charleston.

Our room was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. We loved it.

Great location, wonderful staff, room was spacious and comfortable, hotel restaurants were top notch, roof top pool was fantastic.

Walking distances to many sights as well as restaurants. Clean, spacious room. Indoor pool was great as well. Parking in the nearby garage wasn't the best as the spaces are narrow. If we are ever visiting Charleston again, this will be the place to stay.

We booked here to be close to most all attractions so we didn't have to rent a car for the whole week. We were generously upgraded to the Club Level where we had free breakfast, afternoon cocktails/hordeorves, and evening dessert/nightcaps. Food was excellent and great variety daily. Entire staff, bellmen, concierge, desk clerks, cleaning staff, bartenders all went above and beyond to make our stay special. Hotel is very elegant. Room was large, lovely and quiet. Charleston Grill was fabulous food and lobby bar was always hopping with nightly music. We LOVED this hotel!

Staff made me feel like I was at home. Elegant classic southern hotel. Made us feel like we were southern aristocrats.

This is a lovely hotel that is very well located. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Concierge was extremely helpful in advising about Charleston sights.

We loved Belmond Charleston Place! They left a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake for us- So sweet and thoughtful. Beautiful hotel and awesome location. We cant wait to go back!

Only disappointment was Charleston Grill-food so so and no dress code whatsoever so we got to share the tattoos on man at next table, not very appetizing and when I mentioned to restaurant manager, his attitude was that if they had a dress code, they would not have any business, so while we will stay at Hotel again, will not go to the grill.!

Great location. Fine lobby with upscale bar. Gourmet formal dining room. Nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Great staff that responded to our every request. Spacious, well appointed room. Good value but probably too expensive for most people's budget, unless you're there on an expense account or a tax deductible meeting.

The staff at the hotel was excellent! Our concierges Robert and Richard handled everything we could ask for. We wanted to change dinner reservations and they handled it seamlessly. Great service by the entire staff. Chilled champagne waiting in our room with chocolate strawberries was a great touch. There are only two things that were disappointing. I had specifically asked if there was any construction going on prior to booking. I was assured there was not. Unfortunately the outdoor area of the pool was closed two days into our stay. As this was the only outside area it was a bit inconvenient. This also prevented any outside area to smoke a good cigar. I really would have liked to enjoy that after dining in their exceptional restaurants. It is my understanding that the construction is on an outside rooftop bar area so maybe those issues are already being addressed. The wifi went down one night. Perhaps not such a huge loss to be disconnected on your honeymoon! Super location! Great cocktails at the thoroughbred lounge! Overall a great experience!

Like the hotel and restaurants. Stayed to avoid two round trip drives given traffic headaches post SC-highway floodwater aftermath in Charleston area. Room comfortable, well-appointed, with spacious bathroom and killer marble shower. 24/7 room service at midnight responsive with a delicious cheese and berry plate. Only issue was non-working A/C in the room, where climate was tolerable but could have been more desirably cooler. At checkout, clerk dismissive, suggesting that hotel had 24/7 engineering and I should have contacted them at 12:30 AM. Hotel expensive, but met my needs for convenience, and would stay there again and recommend establishment to others.

Excellent location, professional staff. Enjoyed piano bar and shopping!

The Belmond Charleston Place is a superb destination hotel. Great rooms, great service and all the extras anyone could hope for. A fabulous spa with experienced masseuses and top drawer restaurants all offering first class quality and service. It is centrally located and I can't wait to go back!

The hotel is centrally located to many restaurants and historical sites in Charleston. The club level is definitely worth the extra money. The pool is nice feature, but exceptionally crowded in the summer. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Great location, beautiful hotel. Only complaint would be that for the price you pay I would expect some added features or extras. Such as complimentary coffee in the morning or at least a coffee maker in the room. In Savannah most hotels offer a wine reception each night. That would be a nice touch.

This hotel was great and in the perfect location to explore downtown. IT was right in the hearth of the city and close to attractions and shopping! I would definitely stay again.

We loved the club level and we walked everywhere, like the market and even the Thoroughbred in the lobby area! Love the staff and this hotel is the absolute best!

The hotel is beautiful and well appointed. It is in a great location. My only complaints are that the onsite restaurants are outrageously high priced, and the internet is not free in the rooms
