Very nice and clean. We only stayed one night. Restroom toilet did not flush properly so had to use lobby restroom. Reported to front desk as we left but didn't seem concerned.
Most staff were friendly and worked hard. The hotel is tired. The air conditioner in my room did not work. There was no internet. Dining is limited and there is nothing within walking distance.
Air conditioning coming on sounded like an 18-wheeler idling or a jet taking off and woke us up several times a night; one had to pay for parking; there was no way to print boarding passes before leaving for airport
Roach in the bathroom , dirty carpet. Average breakfast, should improve. Convenient location , but if you can, avoid ….

AC broke down and wasn’t repaired before we left and the property was poorly maintained. The best word to describe it is YUCK!

The staff was very warm, friendly, and professional, but the hotel needs some upgrades. Common things like towels and tissue was scarce - there was only was set of towels in the room and barely no toilet tissue in the bathroom. The comforter also had a red stain on it and we had to get another one. It didn’t look like the room had been cleaned throughly at all- there was hair and dirt on one of the night stands.
The hotel was very nice. We did have trouble checking in with our Orbitz reservation. The hotel couldn’t find the reservation. We also had to call down to the front desk several times because our room wasn’t stocked with clean towels after the first night. We also didn’t have extra toilet paper in the room. The staff was very nice though.
Gym is very nice. Didn’t care for the location much. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Our trip was delayed by 3 hours so our arrival time was 11:30p instead of 8:30p after a long work week and 8 hour drive. The young man who checked us in (he is from Harlingen - cannot recall his name) was so kind to us wearied travelers. We were so hungry. Of course the warm cookies hit the spot but he threw in a sandwich and some fruit after we asked if we could buy them from the vending area. It was just enough to stop our growling tummies. We love the bed and the towels. The room (455) wasn't as quiet as we would have liked but overall the stay was great. We joined hhonors so hope to be staying at more Doubletree locations in the future.
Great amenities! Beautiful decor, well kept space! The Pool and gym were relaxing and the bar staff was very helpful. The entire place is modern and accessible.
