As a Hilton Honors member, I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Mark Center Hilton in Alexandria, Virginia. The room was excessively dusty, to the point where I had to purchase allergy medicine during my stay. When I woke up, there was visible dust circulating through the air from the AC unit, which made the experience very uncomfortable. I requested a room change, and although the staff accommodated me, the second room had the exact same issue. I also have pictures for reference. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable, especially from a Hilton property. As a Hilton Honors member (Member ID ending in 7512), I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and guest care. I hope management takes this issue seriously to ensure future guests do not have the same experience.

Everything was good. Until the morning of checkout: their system kept showing we had already checked out, leading to our door being knocked on several times starting early in the morning, with house keeping asking when we would be leaving, prior to the 11 am checkout time.

Presentation of the hotel was nice, but when we had dinner at the sushi bar restaurant a RAT ran under the table as our food was coming and it ran to at least three other tables, then down the escalator. That ruined the entire vibe of the evening and although the manager was very apologetic the damage was done!
