thank you. But no, I really did not enjoy my stay. On the contrary, we are in a govt shutdown, on a weekend and i only saw 2 other guests when i was at yiur hotel. —however i still could not check in until 3 pm. Ok, i accept that is your policy and you don’t want to “spoil” the guests into thinking they can check in early. God forbid someone makes an effort to think originally. But as i said that is not my real complaint. We checked into the room and began to relax : washed faces, dried faces, drank water, etc. When i went to use the toilet it would not flush. I tried to get it to work- no luck. Front desk would not change our room- we had to wait for a plumber — in an empty hotel! The plumber or maintenance person arrived and asked if I wanted a plunger! “ No, i don’t want a plunger, YOU want a plunger.” Finally the Front desk found another room and we moved. But on our way out the maintenance man called after us “ Well, you used everything ”. I suppose meaning we used the towels and opened the water bottle. Is it our fault your plumbing does not work. Can you please train your staff not to antagonize your guests. It takes15 minutes for the hot water to work in the shower, snd there is no coffee in the room. The room was $300 a night. No, we won’t be back.
