The staff at the front desk was so helpful on many occasions to make our stay smooth and pleasant, They suggested places to eat, helped with a surprise or two for a birthday guest, and the cocktail hour and breakfast was an added touch. Stayed witha family of 4. Loved the queen beds, the air conditioning was solid, kept the room cool. Elevators were never crowded, always available. Hotel was also always quiet in the evenings. The hotel is close to grand central station, as well as the Bryant Park subway stops, so getting around was easy. My family and I also thought the food options nearby were far better than near Times Square for example.

I did a birthday staycation and it was great. The staff was super welcoming and accommodating. Our room's tv wasn't working and they happily changed our room and gave us a great view. Only downside the shower's did not get super hot at all.

Wow! The staff at this hotel is so friendly. I was in NYC for 4 days for an event, and they really made me feel like I was leaving and returning home. Don't miss the happy hour. It's a nice way to wind down after a busy day. I got a room with the jetted tub, and it was fabulous. Will definitely be back.
