Excellent stay. Room was beautiful n clean. Staff super friendly. Will be the hotel ill stay in on all my visits to New York.

The location is very centrally located- 4 blcoks from the Herald Square subway station. Very high traffic area. The restaurants on site were great- I had one of the best dinners at L'amico, and the courtyard behind the hotel is so charming. Gratned room service is a bit overpriced, but that's to be expected. I was so pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, and of the bathrooms in the hotel. So big and comfortable. And the views were spectacular as well! Very friendly staff.

The hotel was lovely - the location is fantastic if you're looking to get around easily to major tourist attractions. The restaurants/bars in the building were also wonderful. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was nice but other than that there was nothing remarkable about the room. Overall a great stay.

Well run hotel. Professional staff so you have a seamless experience.

We had an amazing experience at hotel Eventi! We arrived an hour before check in and the friendly and courteous staff allowed us to check in early and we were given an upgraded room! The lobby is gorgeous and our room was stunning. It was clean, extremely comfortable, and the view was awesome. The bathroom and rain head shower was amazing! The location is great - close to everything but not congested like Broadway or Times Square. The staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer! We definitely didn't want to leave! We got an excellent price through orbitz and had a wonderful time in NYC. Thank you Hotel Eventi! We will be back soon!

My new 'go to' hotel in NYC. I love this place. Lovely room. Awesome staff. They sent us champagne for our honeymoon. Great location. Very welcoming!

We enjoyed this hotel very much for our overnight stay in Manhattan. The checkin was flawless thanks to two awesome guys named Kevin. One who took my car to the parking and the other who checked us in. We a little peak at the Empire State building from our comfy sixth floor room. When we realized that we had forgotten to bring shaving cream, a call to housekeeping caused some to bring some up to our room.

Great hotel! We moved here after one night at the ACE around the corner, as we did not like it there at all. Very nice hotel with a great staff. Will gladly stay here on every trip back to NYC!

If you like boutique type hotels that have a lot of swank then Eventi is for you. The rooms are spacious for New York hotels, and very well put together. The staff are very helpful and you'll enjoy the bar and lounge areas. It is also quite centrally located - about 1 mile from Time Square and close to Tribeca etc.

Great location for us. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere still with good service. Nice breakfast buffet. Rooms are NY size but comfortable and workable. Attentive staff. Will use again.

When we entered the lobby it was beautifully decorated with huge leather couches. Available to all were two sculpted beverage dispensers filled with fresh iced tea and cucumber infused lemon water. We were welcomed by the staff at check in with cheerfulness and professionalism! We were asked if it was our first visit to this hotel and we told them yes (it really was). At that point we were given a room upgrade, much to our surprise! We got a room with an amazing view! The room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and clean. We were invited to have complimentary wine on the fifth floor terrace which was absolutely lovely!! When it came time for dinner, we had a choice because they have 3 separate restaurants! We decided to have Tappa's at Lupulo, and dinner at L'Amico. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We didn't get to go the third place The Vine, but it was as busy as the other two! When we returned to our room we were surprised again to find a complimentary bottle of champagne, chocolates, and cookies! My husband I had such a terrific time! We would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

From the start to finish - this is a 5 star hotel. Highly recommend.

Hotel was probably closer to 3 stars- rooms weren't very clean, walls in hallways were pretty marked up and had stains, grout on bathroom floor was stained and dirty, caulking around inside of tub was a sightly mess, stains on comforter under cover sheets, stains on carpet and the hotel smelled like pets. Furniture was pretty worn, sofa in suite was torn and dirty, office chair was broken and top of the desk had stains. Upon leaving I had to ask baggage to help me with luggage and HELP me get a cab to airport- as expensive as this hotel was I shouldn't have to ask. I stayed in 2 rooms and one suite over a a week period- this was my experience in all 3 rooms. Time for a remodel as expensive as it was! Definitely not 5 stars as reported by Orbitz.

Beautiful hotel from the lobby to your room they upgraded us to a suite with a pool table in it open floor plan wood floors marble bathroom floor to ceiling Windows wall to wall as well great view from the 23rd of the Empire State Building

This hotel is worthy of every single one of it's 5 stars. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and large for NY standards. Stunning marble bathroom was beautifully designed and spacious. From the top floor I had a view of the city that was unparalleled. Had Easter buffet brunch at their Vine restaurant. I hope it is a service they will consider offering every Sunday. The food and waitstaff service were exemplary. Looking for an in-town minibreak, the Eventi exceeded the expectations of this jaded New Yorker. Well done Kimpton.

This was the worse hotel experience ever. The hotel room lost heat and it was 3 degrees outside. The night manager Matt had no resolution but to provide space heaters that did not work. It was Valentines Day so the experience was awful. The next day the manager stated that they could not provide a refund because the room had already been paid by a third party. I will no longer pre-pay or visit this hotel again. In fact, I am disappointed in Kimpton properties in general after this experience.

Stayed at this hotel with my husband on his birthday and I must say that the hotel staff were exceptional. Everything was as expected and more. We had a great time.

The staff was awesome! The restaurant was ok at best. The room was nice, but the bedding was not great. I'm a little spoiled so maybe I expect too much, but wasn't my favorite hotel in the city. Can't say anything was bad, but like my title wasn't great.

Absolutely Fabulous hotel! We were able to bring our pet, Luna, who adored her pet bed, toys and luxe room! The bathroom was amazing!

This hotel was awesome. The rooms are small but were very nice. I definitely would stay here again.
