I enjoy the comforts of this hotel. Everyone is friendly and helpful, from front desk to the bellmen. The new lobby & restaurant renovations makes a huge difference to the feel of the place. It's in walking distance to restaurants and the metro so you can easily navigate to things to do. I have been staying here for over 4 years every time I come to DC. Wilver and Kevin are amazing
As we drove up to the front of the hotel there was a friendly valet there to take our luggage and park the car. Entering the hotel I was impressed with the classy look of the lobby. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was also classy and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near Georgetown and in walking distance of good restaurants and many of important Washington sites.
To be far the lobby was undergoing renovations which meant no bar. Though to be truthful any hotel without a bar really can't merit more than 3 stars. Other than that no complaints.
Dusty during construction. Should be nicer when done.
This is the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Beautiful modern architecture. Everything is clean. The staff was on it!
It's was awesome and welcoming The room was lovely I loved the view that I had in the room
If you stay here while construction of the first floor and exterior is ongoing, ask for a room on a high floor that faces the back of the hotel. I had to change rooms 3x because of loud construction and street noise. The staff was very helpful and accommodating but I wish I hadn't needed to ask for a different room not located directly above the lobby renovation. Room service only available 5-9pm. Rooms need updating: outdated furniture in suites, loud A/C. This is really a 3 star hotel that benefits from the great location.
Quiet room. Tons of room to move around. Excellent shower and bathroom! All staff very polite and friendly--very attentive. Used valet service--great. Clean and cared for room! Would definitely go back!
Great location, well kept facilities, very friendly staff, definitely recommend
Business trip, great bed, nice room... A little noisy but they had ear plugs next to the bed so that was nice. Room service was fast and good food. Will return for future Washington business trips.
This hotel was the best and we will be making a trip soon one more time.
Walls are paper thin.could hear everything happening from all sides.woke up at 8amto some disturbing noises.
I am glad the conference hotel was sold out. Loved the st Gregory!
A great hotel with a central location in DC! Like the Bar!
Wonderful staff. When they did not have the room we had booked they immediately upgraded it with no additional charge. This was certainly appreciated since we had a very late arrival, due to travel connection problems. The night manager was fantastic and gave us a very friendly welcome. We felt very much at home. Congratulations to the restaurant manager as he recently became a father and shared the baby pictures with us.
As my title states, I was averagely please with this property. The location was great for my purposes with good eating options and local attractions easily accessible. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Although the room was comfortable and relatively renovated and updated, the property itself is rather old and does not offer pool or exercise room, etc. which are things that I value. For drivers, parking was expensive by my standards. Hotel restaurant fair was just that, fair. I will not say I would not stay here again, but taking in consideration of price and availability, I would choose other options in the Dupont Circle area first.
I booked this exactly one month before Valentine's/President's weekend, and paid only $100 per night, a steal given the location and amenities of the hotel (I went to college in DC, and this is in a great location, safe, and in between the Dupont Circle and Farragut North Metro stations)! My partner and I enjoyed the luxury of a soft king size bed with dual mirrored closets in front of the bed, good heating system given it was cold in February, the large bathroom quarters (I could easily apply my makeup standing next to him brushing his teeth at the sink). The kitchenette and living room were nice to have but we didn't take advantage of it much. Everything was clean and staff was friendly! I'd definitely stay here again.
Great location, comfortable and clean rooms, parking, walking distance from White House.
Only a mile away from the White House. You pay $50 a night for parking. We went down to the restaurant around 9:15 to be told the kitchen was closed when the sign said open till 10:00. The manager of the restaurant was not nice at all and very rude. Other than that all the other staff was great and friendly.
