No room cleaning from I left at 9 am and returned at 3 pm

Location is excellent. They gave me an upgrade to a large room, which was very nice. Did not try restaurant/bar at ground level, or on roof. What I didn't like: motel-quality towels, poor lighting at the sink, and no soap/lotion. shampoo/body wash/conditioner came out in small dollops and were attached to the wall. I didn't find out until checkout that they would provide soap on request. clock radio on table but radio non-functional, required to hook up phone (via Bluetooth). Bed/pillows adequate.

Pods are just enough space and have great extras like white noise machines and high quality soap products. Rooftop bar has great views and Whiskey bar has live music and delicious cocktails. It’s located just inside Chinatown and there are tons of great food options nearby. Would definitely book again!

The property was exactly as presented in the search for hotels in DC, clean, small, accommodating, well located, and no-frills. Perfect for one or two people to stay in downtown DC.

The DC Pod is a lively place with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are SMALL, but you are at Gallery Place. If you've got some extra time get out of your room. Go to a museum; go to a movie; go a one of many restaurants (of all types and prices); go bowling; get some ice cream or a smoothie; or just go up to the rooftop bar (all within two blocks) And you are across the street from one of the 2 most convenient metro stops, so explore.

I liked the hard surface floor in the room instead of nasty carpet. I loved the use of storage and shelving. I loved the cleanliness and modern/abstract decor. I loved the location...it was perfect for walking to tourist attractions. I hated that there was no iron and board in the room.

It’s exactly what it is.... not luxurious, but perfect in Chinatown!

The property is in a good location near trendy restaurants and the staff was helpful.

Night front desk associate couldn’t be bothered explaining how to park in garage they use at 1:30am. Because he didn’t listen gave me directions to get to elevator of garage. Waisted an hour. Seriously why would I be leaving the garage with my 14 year old son at that time of night. No apology and could care less. Ruined my experience of what seemed like a great place . Suggestion next time pick your head up and listen

Everything was great, the restaurant was having technical issues with their registers so they just gave away free pastries and coffee to the hotel patrons!

Great value for the room and location. Expensive time of year to be in DC and this location was great!

This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway! Rooms are small but accommodating and the use of space is very strategic! The hotel is updated and modern with a little bit of funky twist. Very nice restaurant on the first floor and a very cool and almost speak easy feel to the whiskey bar downstairs. Location was spot on as well, few blocks away from multiple restaurants/bars and shopping. Just a short car ride to tourist attractions as well! Overall amazing stay!

+ friendly clean functional room(perfect size) - bed could be more plush(too firm)

Loved the price, the location, the room, bed, the crimson cafe, check-in staff was exceptional (Aisha sp?).

Simple, compact but well designed room- bright, new and very clean. Friendly, helpful, smiling staff. Restaurant/bar/rooftop bar. Very prompt elevators. In-room safe, no fridge or iron/board. Firm bed. Very well located in Chinatown across the street from 3 subway lines. Numerous early morning garbage truck pick ups- very loud unfortunately- only real negative. Except for that, perfect stay.
