When I buy a room with a queen, I expect a queen and not a full. You guys did not give me a queen. The room was neat and tidy and tastefully decorated. The staff was welcoming. I found the pillows too hard. I guess I expect a coffee maker in the room. This did not have one.

Fully renovated beautiful hotel. Very nice rooms, a bit small but nicely appointed. Great breakfast. Great location. Was there on business but would choos for leisure travel as well.

The location is very convenient, close to a couple capital share bike stations for those who'd like to go around the city area via bicycle. Close to ChinaTown, nice restaurants to choose. Close to National Mall within 30 min walking, 15 min biking.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet, overlooking the inner courtyard. Bed was super comfy. Bathroom was a little dated and the hot water took a few minutes to get up to temperature, but it was the cleanest hotel bathroom I've probably ever been in. The amenities were great, the free wifi, safe, and mini fridge. Wonderful location a couple blocks from the metro station and just a few stops away from the major tourist sites (national mall, Capitol, etc.). Easy to get to on the metro from Reagan Airport, too. We loved our stay and definitely recommend this hotel. Very affordable for the area too (we stayed in early September).

Good service, clean and great location. Close to the convention center and only a few blocks from museums, mall and the White House.

I would've given 5 stars if not for my experience w/ the money part. I booked the rooms & paid for them in advance. I thought I had that taken care of. When we arrived it was another story. When you check in they charge a $60 per room incidentals fee & tell you it's in case you use any of the hotel services like the restaurant or bar & that it will be refunded to your account 3-5 days after you check out if you don't use it. I wasn't told in advance & that $120 (we had 2 rooms) was part of our eating/spending money for the weekend. We paid it & went to our rooms, which were not huge but really nice. The showers were awesome. The beds were comfy & there's a fridge. Overall, the rooms were great as long as you don't need a lot of room. We decided that since we had already used $120 of our money that was supposed to be to eat w/ that we would eat in the restaurant at the hotel. We ate at the restaurant a couple times & got room service once. At checkout they mentioned charges & because of the way it was said I asked to make sure they weren't going to charge my card again but use the $120 they had already put on hold from my account. The woman confirmed that was correct. Lies. They had the $120 on hold & charged me for the meals. I was refunded the $120 after a couple days but the fact they charged me for incidentals & then didn't even use that money towards that & charged me AGAIN is infuriating along w/ the lies. Also, their valet was full so we had to find a parking garage.

The review would have been 5 overall except for the :last interaction I had with the front desk. I had a 6:15 am flight out of Reagan so I needed to leave the hotel about 4:15 to comfortably get to the airport. I asked the desk the night before to arrange a cab at 4:15. I came down from the room at 4:05, and asked about my cab. The bellman assured me that there would be no problem getting a cab at 4:15. At 4:15, no cab, at 4:25 no cab, at 4:30 no cab. I finally had to order an Uber which arrived at 4:45. A guest request for a cab at a particular time should be a no brainer for a hotel like the Morrison even at 4:15 particularly when I had requested the cab the night before. I made my flight, just barely, but the poor performance of the front desk staff at checkout really put a black mark on the hotel's review.

Wonderful, historic hotel. Great restaurant too. And perfect location for walking around DC.

The hotel decor was gorgeous! Room was very clean and a great size. Bar and snacks available in room was a plus! The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do in DC. Restaurants, bars, sights: all within walking or a short Lyft ride away. Staff was super friendly and courteous! We will be back!

I liked everything about this hotel--location, decor, amenities, food, room, bath. It's historic, not a bland corporate skyscraper. Would definitely stay there again.

I like the location and comfort of the hotel! Love how clean and detailed everything is I'd definitely recommend but the parking is very annoying because they don't have a lot of parking opportunities on the street and if there's a free spot it is only free until 7am. Their valet is 38$ a day which I think is too expensive for how much we already paid to stay there. Overall great hotel!

Everybody like to help and explain what you want, fast and friendly. Only was bad the WI-FI, terrible

Went bcuz of frustration at work. Frasier was amazing host!

It was a very decent place to stay. I needed a clean and comfortable room and it worked great. Staff was friendly and very fast.

Loved it! I will certainly return. ......................................................

Checked in at 10:30a, room not ready, no problem...came back at 10:30p only 1 room left, with no desk or chair, asked for another, said there was another room (!), moved rooms, it was 80 degrees in the room with no air conditioning working, moved back to the room with no desk, smelled musty. They ran out of food 'for the evening' and had no bottles of cold water available. In the morning, no newspapers available, no turkey sausage. Ordered pork sausage...sent it back, inedible. Won't go there again.

I can't really comment on how nice the Morrison-Clark was or wasn't because on my arrival, they advised me that they were bumping me to another nearby property, the Washington Plaza. It seemed comparable, I guess, but had a different atmosphere that I would not have chosen on my own. I was very disappointed as I had reserved my room over a month ago and they did not offer me any kind of upgrade or other consideration for the inconvenience. I was tired from travelling so I did not make a big stink about it, but I was annoyed and felt disrespected. I would definitely not recommend them.

Loved my stay here. Small room but just right for just me and one night stay. Loved the courtyard. Tranquil place

The Hotel is at a very centric location of DC, very nice looking, clean, and the room was SO COMFORTABLE!

very friendly staff welcomed me for a one night stay. They did not have equipment on site for the room to accommodate me as a hearing impaired traveler. Made other arrangements to assure I awoke to catch my flight. Very small room but lovely and fine for a quick stay. great location.
