I was a little worried about the hotel, because it was very affordable. I was lucky enough to find availability for early check-in, which was much needed after a very early flight. Check-out was a breeze. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite. Everyone from the shuttle drivers, to everyone in the lobby, were a pleasure to interact with. The room was perfect: neat and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very up to date. Will definitely stay again.

Very clean and welcoming hotel. Close to many attractions. Very friendly and respectful staff.

the hotel is very clean and big room. I will recommend this hotal to my friend.

At first glance this is a 5-Star hotel, pleasing to the eye. However, it's the details that count most in my rating. My check in experience left a lot to be desired as I checked in late, with plenty of notification, & felt like I was a bother to the employee (I should have noted her name). When I awoke in the morning it was very inconvenient to make coffee in my room. The coffee machine was located on the 2nd level of unit, plugged into the wall behind it, so I could not pull it out far enough to pour water into it. So, I quickly threw on a pair of jeans & a shirt and made my way down to the lobby to get a cup. Unfortunately there is no free coffee at this establishment. You either have to sit down to breakfast to get a cup, or, purchase one from the Starbucks in the lobby (I do not care for Starbucks coffee!). Upon returning to the elevators to go back to my room, I was chastised for not wearing shoes! First off, I shouldn't have had to get fully dressed to have a cup of coffee. Secondly I was on my way back to the elevator, when the employee shouted to me that shoes were required in the lobby (I should have gotten her name as well). That afternoon I asked the desk clerk if there was a CVS in the area as I needed to purchase cough drops for my daughter. he told me "there was one around the block" pointing Westward. I never found that CVS! Instead I purchased some from the hotel store from the kindest employee I ran into all weekend! I was glad to check out on Sunday!

We loved our stay! Staff was super friendly and attentive. The shuttle to DCA and Metro works great. The room was confortable (we got the upgraded King room). We stayed with a toddler and we were very confortable.

Hotel staff were courteous friendly and professional. The room was very clean. Having the AC close to the ceiling kept the room warm. Food was good.

This is still a nice hotel that's very well-kept. However the clientele was consistently more obnoxious and loud than our previous visits. Even though the rooms seem to be well insulated from noise, most nights our sleep was still interrupted by loud hallway parties and slamming doors at anywhere from midnight to 3 AM. My other family members that stayed on a different floor complained about the same problem. I also loathed the fact that the valet adjusted the heck out of my car's driver seat and HVAC controls. Other than forward/back adjustments, nothing else on the car should be touched. Seriously. If not for the late-night noise and valet thing, my review would've been 5 stars.

Our room was incredible. I booked a room with "more space" so we wouldn't feel jammed. We received a room on the top floor that overlooked the city and could even see the Washington Monument! Our bed was PERFECT, I slept like a baby after doing do much walking at the national mall. The bathroom was nice, convenient closet location. The TV was large and rotatable. Everything about this room was a dream come true and I'm happy to have chosen it!

It would have been nicer if it were closer to the Crystal City restaurants. I don't like paying $20 for breakfast so I walked 1/4 mi to the Mcdonalds I liked the pool lifeguards. No cookies to be found anywhere as advertised. Staff was perfect.

Generally a nice hotel among the many close to Reagan Nat Airport. The facilities were nice but checking in the staff was totally unhelpful, handing me a single key without asking how many I needed and refusing to answer any questions about the area (you need to speak to the concierge). The room was nice (although there was a food stain on the sofa) but we discovered when we tried to call down to the valet at checkout that none of the phones in the room worked. ....a pretty big safety issue.

This hotel is full of friendly staff and is clean and well kept. The food is always good no matter what you order. Also, they throw in little extras when you order room service or to-go. My only negative is that you have to drive all the way around the hotel to drive into the entrance because it is on a one-way street. Also, with a stop light one car length away, you usually have to wait for it to turn green to pull in, so hopefully you are not in a hurry.

Hyatt Regency used to be a premium brand. No longer. Room service dinner was served on paper plates with plastic utensils. Holiday Inn across the street is a much better value.

A most friendly and helpful staff, always courteous and informative.

Was stranded in Wash DC due to airline debaucle. Randomly chose this hotel. My level of stress went way down just walking in front door. Nice place. Great bartender. Big room with a great view. Very comfortable bed. Room service very reasonably priced and very good. Will definitely be staying here again!

I came in for the Women's March and was able to check in early. Extremely courteous front desk staff member. Hotel was clean and most comfortable. Saturday night I had dinner at the restaurant. Excellent food and service. I will stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

Excellent very satified, good food! Many things to do surrounding the hotel

Very nice check-in and room. However, I found a bug on the bed and was offered another room (no!). The staff found me a room at another Hyatt - which I had to pay for - and I have to pursue a refund from Orbitz for the 1st room . I was also assured that the room would be inspected and that I would be contacted the next day to confirm whether it was a bedbug. I didn't hear from anyone.

Great stay & room, great staff, great breakfast buffet......no complaints!
