Staff was very kind and gave us a room upgrade. Room was spacious (with a small kitchenette) and very clean if dated. The one negative was the TV. I am not sure they have cable TV? Only local channels available. Location is great right across from GW University and near the mall and monuments. The hotel has a vintage feel but is well maintained and a great value.

Decent room in good location; however: Breakfast was not included which was misleading based on description. Evening staff, particularly, the woman at concierge, was not very friendly (woman in morning was nice) Overall quite expensive, especially valet parking which was $50/night. Would have been nice to be informed about other options.
