The staff is just extraordinary. What a great group of friendly, helpful professionals!!

Hotel is well located central to GW university, restaurants and DC sites. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The staff is very positive and courteous. The doormen are responsive. The hotel is smallish and the rooms are a little small, but very clean and not cluttered. Our bathroom had a window which could open for fresh air, instead of a fan. The other room windows also opened. The TV worked like a regular TV--no special hotel channels. The curtains pulled like normal curtains. The coffee maker was not proprietary. The furniture was authentic and vintage. The dresser had large drawers, which we used. All of this made the room homey and welcoming. The heater was a flat radiant panel on a wall. It was clean and quiet, not a big noisy blower thing. The hotel is easy walking distance from the White House. Con: If you keep your windows open at night, you'll hear traffic starting in the early morning.

The staff is world class and truly cares about customer service and making visitors have a wonderful experience. It was a beautiful stay and the thanks goes to all of the staff --- the door men, the front desk, the dining staff, and housekeeping services. A magical and rare combination of a terrific staff.

Staff very friendly We had a problem with the room next to us but they resolved the noises as soon we called, at 4 am

stay here often when visiting GWU. great location. Small boutique hotel. old world. very comfortable.

I use this hotel in my travels to DC since many years ago. I found this visit a couple of employees on the reception desk not as friendly and helpdul as the others and as those in my previous visits. I hope training will fix the issue.

Great location in a very walkable city. The first evening there, we walked to Dupont Circle for dinner and drinks. The next day we walked to the National Mall and spent the day at the museums. The staff was very welcoming and friendly - we were greeted and helped by by the bellhop upon arrival, and received a room upgrade much to our surprise! The room was clean and spacious and the bed was plush and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Lombardy, especially if you are there to see the usual sights by the White House.

Great location to everything. Can walk to all you want. Will return.

Smaller European style rooms in renovated historic building. Decor is turn of [20th] century. Very Clean, bathroom immaculate. Staff very friendly. No complaints about room, dining somewhat overpriced but typical of D.C.

Super! Good location! Would recomend! Close to most interest places! Quiet!

Great historic hotel. The staff was amazingly friendly; room was fairly large. Small gym in the basement. The restaurant was wonderful - service and food quality was great.

I'm so sorry I didn't discover this hotel earlier when my son was an undergrad at GW. It's just a block away from the Marvin Center. We enjoyed seeing a student play on campus and then visiting a couple of my son's favorite pubs, all within easy walking distance. The hotel is very nice and possibly the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

Not our first stay at the Lombardy and definitely not out last. Always great service and more than comfortable rooms. Would highly recommend staying there and especially if you are GW bound!

I have been using this Hotel as my place any time visiting DC. In this ocassion my room was not as confortable as others I have been before but nevertheless I enjoyed my stay.

Staff was super nice, restaurant was very good, room clean and great, and the location excellent. Paid less then the value it delivered. Strongly recommend.

Such an uncomfortable bed. Very small room. Front desk not helpful or friendly. Would not go back or recommend.

The Hotel Lombardy was fantastic! The staff were great and the location was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Room was cozy and clean. Hotel is great.Location was close to shopping and my other office location. Everyone was helpful.
