The parking was expensive about $53. a day and the spaces were very tight and hard to get in and out of. Their restaurants were not open because of restricted capacity but why can’t they have room service? The only nearby restaurant that was open most of the time that we were there was McDonalds.

It was close to the National Mall

My family and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. A lot of the staff were friendly, but not everyone was friendly (just not welcoming) the hotel is a little dated but the rooms are still nice. Our room was located on the 500 wing which is right next door to the train. The train passes in the early am 3am, 5am so if you're a light sleeper it will awake you. The parking is expensive $50 a night and the parking is very cramped if you don't hv a compact car. A full size vehicle will hv trouble getting in and out of spots. I also saw a huge rat at the parking lot entrance. Other than those things, I loved the fact it is very close to the national mall and the monuments. You can get to a lot of places by walking.

The location is great, next to Capitol Hill and National Air and Space Museum. A lot of restaurants, fast food places and CVS nearby- convenient for family with kids. Staff is very friendly and helpful (especially Sam). We really enjoyed our stay.

Mattress was very comfortable and the room was quiet even though on the 2nd floor near the elevators. Very easy walk to the mall and close to many restaurants. Parking may seem expensive but it is onsite with free in and outs. Best value for close to the mall now that we aren’t riding the Metro. My son lives 4 blocks over so we frequent the area at least 4x a year.

Toilet was dirty and elavator was not working and staff was unprofesional

This was the second time I've been to DC and I stayed here when someone made the suggestion on my first trip to DC. After hours of walking with my mom we made it to the Capital Hill Holiday Inn. Due to Covid 19 and various restrictions I was a bit worried about customer service at the hotel, but everyone was superb, from the doorman to the front desk person, to the engineer that came to our room to fix rhe broken heater. This hotel was also in a great location near the National Mall and pretty much in the middle of everything. I will definitely stay there again, hopefully when everything is back to normal, which is hopefully soon

Very clean and very pleasant staff! I will visiting again in the near future.

Location was great and the staff was wonderful. We had an issue with our reservation which didn't transfer correctly from Orbitz and the front desk manager spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with Orbitz getting it all sorted for us. Corine and her team were great and we'll stay here again.

Conveniently located near the tourist spots in DC.

The location is great for visiting the Smithsonian museums, the Capitol, the Washington Monument, etc. It is also near mass transit. The hotel's staff was very competent and professional. The rooms were quiet.

Really great location, especially if doing Smithsonian museums

We're sorry to hear you encountered some issues and hope you were able to address them with the onsite manager during your stay. The hotel is working on upgrading the elevator room key technologies which was being tasked over the weekend. We apologize for the inconvenience.
