Loved the staff.every one friendly from check in to housekeeping to doormen! Food and drink at the bistro was outstanding! Only complaint was the steamy hot gym in the windowless basement.

Great location and friendly staff. Could use a pool. I liked the old lobby with water and islands better.

Great location and easy to get to from the Metro. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I liked the central location of the hotel. Good restaurants around the area. The woman in the dining room at breakfast as well as the concierge were outstanding. Clean and well decorated. I didn’t like the fact that I reserved a king room and was told that they over booked and I was only offered a queen or double bed room. It was uncomfortable at night. Also, day one I asked where the closest metro station there was to the hotel. I was sent far. The second day, I was send one block down one block over to Metro Center Station. Day three I was finally told the station is connected to your facility. Unrelated to the hotel, I tried to cancel the rent a car when there was a long line and wait. They told me to call Orbiz. I went online and orbiz said someone would call. They did not. To my knowledge I was not reimbursed

I like the accessibility to the metro station and how close this hotel was to everything (within walking distance).

Doubled billed for dining and upgrade room fee. Charged additional $25 plus taxes per night for room that was paid for.

Location was great. Check in easy and friendly...and quick What I didn't like was the Starbucks in the lobby. It was the LOUDEST place I've been to this side of a KISS concert. Awful. Couldn't even wait in line it was that loud!

The property is gorgeous. It is in a great location, center of Washington, D.C.

Great staff! Brunch was tasty. Comfortable bed. Spacious rooms. Enjoyable stay!

Nice hotel, good location. Spacious rooms, clean with nice amenities. Polite staff as well. $40 charge for early access to my room, which seemed unecessary. Also, the facilities in the room were all extremely loud. The heater/ac, toilet flushing, faucet were all so loud, both in our room and we could hear them very loudly from adjacent rooms as well. Made it hard to sleep at night.

The staff was welcoming and professional. The bed was very comfortable. The 3 pillows looked like refugees from a Motel 6, worn out and thin. I called for a couple of foam pillows. The staff person could only find 1. Later he brought another refugee pillow. My wife thought the towels might not be clean. I thought they were just well worn and not stored folded. Hopefully they were clean as we used them. Overall, a good hotel, but for a higher priced hotel, you’d expect nice pillows, an extra in the closet, ample bath towels. This was disappointing. Also, it was New Years Eve. The bar closed early. Room service ended early, prior to the time on the menu. While it might have been fiscally efficient for the hotel, for a guest with no big NYE plans it was problematic.
