Great location; close walk to all of the museums, White House and other tourist stops. Everyone at hotel was friendly and accomodating. Some construction going on at hotel, but they informed us at the front desk and it didn't distract or take away from our stay. I would stay here again.

Visited DC recently for the cherry blossom. The property was under construction when we stayed there. No mention of such thing prior to booking a nonrefundable room. As soon as I booked it, I got a message alerting me that it was being renovated but since it was non refundable, I just left it and didn’t bother. We were staying only 3 nights. The banging noise started precisely at 9 AM and continued throughout each day. We were outside most of the time, so it didn’t really bother us, but would have appreciated the information prior to booking the property. Other than that everything was great. Good location with a lot of high-end store around. Great restaurants in the area that’s walkable.

We loved our short stay at the Grand Hyatt. Everything was good, from the fluffy towels to the comprehensive gift shops to the food. Expensive, naturally, because of the great location in D.C., but that's to be expected.
