The service was great! All the staff was friendly.

Almost everything was good. But note that the pool was closed.

I stayed her for 4 nights with my 16-year old son for spring break. The hotel is clean, modern, and inviting. Every staff member that I encountered from the desk clerk, concierge, maid, restaurant staff, to the gentleman that brought extra toiletries to my room were all very friendly--offered a smile and seemed genuinely happy to help. Having a metro station underneath the hotel was incredibly convenient. A very short walk to Ford's Theatre and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Without hesitation, I would book at this hotel.

This hotel was perfect for our visit. The room was great and the staff friendly and helpful. It was in a good location to walk to all the attractions and the metro station is right downstairs. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff, and the breakfast downstairs at the Cabinet was great. The hotel's aesthetics and feel were quite nice. Location was excellent. Walking distance to several museums, restaurants, etc. There are several things that were upsetting about our stay, however. 1) Parking is not clearly / honestly defined for guests. During the reservation process I was informed that the hotel had self parking available and was not told that it was 42$ a day, which is ridiculous. They're valet only (59$/day). The "self-parking" they advertise is available is nothing but a third party parking deck that will charge you 42$ a day to park. 2) They charge a 150$ security deposit to you on check-in, and this was not explained to me at the front desk. I wasted time calling my travel company to figure out what the 150$ extra charge was about. 3) Room doors slamming. Constantly. With a hotel as nice as this one I'd expect some kind of soundproofing on the doors to prevent this from being so loud. 4) A/C unit is not able to cool properly. If set to AUTO, it simply does not run / match the temperature that is set on the thermostat. I found myself having to constantly set the fan to ON to lower the room temperature, otherwise it would default to 75+ even if set to as low as 65 degrees on AUTO -- which is as low as it goes, by the way. The aggravating thing is that it resets to AUTO if you change the temperature on the thermostat again...

It is a beautiful hotel. The location is excellent. The hotel staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

Great visit to DC! Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff.

Great location to stay in if your main goal is to see the Smithsonians, Monuments, and the Government Buildings e.g. Capitol. Getting to the hotel from Reagan Airport is really easy. There are a few dining options around the area but if you want to save on that you'll have to venture a little further out.

Really posirively surprised. Really comfortable room

Within walking distance to everything! Room was ok.

Excellent, The staff was really nice location is also excellent Thx

Nice gym good pool big room I recommend close to everything food shoping white house movie

Excellent stay. The hotel is near all the monuments and memorials. Also, a few blocks away from the White House!

Loved the hotel and the location. Close to metro and museums. Great staff.

Clean, comfortable, excellent food, courteous staff

I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt several times over the year. It's a good hotel, located in the heart of DC. The Grand Hyatt is on top of the Metro and close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

The stay was just ok. My room wasn't cleaned one day and also the cable system was horrible so my son couldn't watch tv when it was storming. Overall, stay was just ok. Next time, my family and I will choose another hotel for our next visit.

It's a decent hotel (after all, it is Hyatt). Perfect location (a 10-minute walk from the White House), nice lobby. The room good, but nothing too fancy. The sink was a little dirty. Some of the furniture is a bit dated, and the elevators are old. The TV in the room was great, and I liked the view into the inner courtyard. Honestly though, for the money they charge, I had expected something more luxurious. It was decent, but I had stayed in better hotels for less money. I just think that chain hotels like Hyatt overcharge for the brand. It may be hit or miss, though. Hyatts in other cities may be better. So, I'd give it a solid 4.

Good hotel and location but one of the worst fitness centers for comparable rooms. Need to replace all equipment- most machines did not work.

Very close to the mall and White House! Parking a very expensive but the room and staff were great.
