We booked one room with one queen bed and one sofa bed on the second floor. Room was extremely small with no insulation between the walls. Loud AC/heat unit, but you can always turn it off. We could hear the neighbors walking upstairs, and TV noise from other rooms. Luckily, nothing crazy. Room seemed clean, but if you looked closely you could see the dirt under the sofa when opened, corners or doors that needed new layer of paint, etc. Please see pictures. In a few words an old room that needs updates. Two small closets offered enough space to store things. Mattress o.k., but pillows were very uncomfortable. An other reviewer mentioned that once you pull out the sofa, it basically touches the queen bed. That’s true. A small light was flickering on the ceiling on and off during the night. (battery in need to be replaced?) Staff seemed nice. Breakfast was on the decent side: omlette, boiled eggs, some meat patties, apples and bananas, waffles, oatmeal, cereals. We booked this room because of the good reviews (!) and because we needed to be very close to the airport, but I wouldn’t go back there again. It was the worst hotel experience out of the three we booked during this trip. There are plenty of better options out there than staying in a small, old room, listening to the other people walk, talk or watching T.V.

Stayed here overnight with my son for his baseball tournament. Comfortable accommodations, friendly staff. Kitchenette was perfect for all the goodies we brought with us plus to get ice packs cold. Bathrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Would stay again!

Stayed at this location in February on our way to board a cruise in Tampa and happy with our choice. The location was great for us to rest for the night. They have a very nice looking pool and seating area. The room is very spacious with a small kitchenette. The morning breakfast was great with a huge selection. Also located near a sports bar which was very convenient. Would recommend... A1+++

We called to let the front desk we would be arriving around 8 pm. When we arrived everything was ready as Maryam had been the person I talked to on the phone. She had the parking passs ready and told me where I could park. They had tee shirts for sale but not the size I needed, Maryam wrote an email and had thenm delivered to our room the next morning. She went above and beyond. She was so welcoming and has a great attitude. Her smile is beautiful. Talked to Sarah and she was very professional and she made the visit warm and welcoming. Saw her multitask all morning and no one waited at the front desk. Sarah is definitely a great manager. Sarah and her staff made this an exceptional visit.

We had a o’dark early departure and decided to stay here close to airport. Free airport Shuttle was quick and dependable. Front desk was very accommodating and even put coffee on a wee early so we could have a cup on the way out. It’s a clean property and would def stay here again if need to be close to airport!

My wife and I arrived at the hotel late in the evening after a long cross country flight. The desk attendant, Maryam, was very gracious and attentive to my wife who was tired and needed to take certain medication with milk. Maryam made provisions for my wife immediately and made sure she had some for the next morning as well. Nice touch. Always good to see someone go the extra mile with the little things - they matter a lot when you are tired. Great accommodations as well.

I stayed at the TownPlace suites on a free Marriott night to attend a Yankees Spring Training game and hang out with some friends. The hotel is in an odd spot, not really off the highway and not really convenient to anything else except two other hotels and a single restaurant. That did not matter much to me, however, since I wasn't going to spend much time there. I arrived very early (for the game) and had hoped that checking in on the Marriott app might make my room available. Alas, it was not (although the front desk did try to find me a room), so I was able to leave my car at the hotel and Uber off to the game. When I arrived back around 10 pm, I was checked right into a room on the 3rd floor that had a queen bed. I found the room to be a bit warm, but it did cool down overnight. The room was small, even with a kichenette, and the bathroom was also pretty small. The room was clean and the water pressure was good, so that was important. Woke up the next morning and checked out breakfast before leaving. The choices were uninspiring, but plentiful. Had some cereal and coffee (a key!) and then checked out. All-in-all, the stay was fine. I would return for the right price.

Whatever Marriott did to change this from a Fairfield was well worth it. Much cleaner and better maintained. Just wish breakfast started before 6 especially when you have to be at the airport for a 6:30 flight.

Surprisingly, there are not real luxury hotels near the tampa airport. Given that I needed a two room suite near the airport, the only available option was this property. Big Mistake! This is an older hotel that has not been well maintained. On the positive side, the staff tries very hard and the in room desks are very functional. However, the rooms are not well designed and not kept in very good condition. The fitness center is very small and cramped, though come of the equipment has been upgraded. The worst feature is the so-called business center is two ancient computer in the middle of the lobby with no chairs (they have to be used standing), no desk, and a printer with such poor quality output that it is barely legible. The pool is adjacent to the parking lot. Perhaps the best indication of quality is that, as a cost cutting measure, they no longer put hand lotion in the bathrooms (it is available on request). It has been a long time since I have walked into a bathroom without this amenity, even in the least expensive properties. I would avoid this property!

We booked a room with a queen bed and a pullout sofa. The room is so small that we couldn’t open the sofa bed. Someone from the hotel had to come and force it past the other bed. You now have to climb over furniture to get across the room. This is, needless to say, a fire hazard as well. Highly unacceptable.
