There was a problem from the start with check in. We made a late reservation around 9:30pm. When we got to the hotel they said their booking department closes so they didn’t have my information...When I wanted to brush my teeth there were no amenities whatsoever in the room except soap and shampoo in the shower. I called the front desk to ask if they had any tooth brushes. They said they did, but they would not bring it up to the room, I would have to go to concierge myself. Poor service, mediocre room, and an overall bad experience. I would never return to this hotel or any of their chains.

They did not recognize the Orbitz reservation saying it was after reservation team went home.

Staff initially do not have my reservation, until the next day they found the reservation and it was ok. This hotel has no lobby and does not look like any other hotel I had stayed inChina. If you are just looking for a room to sleep, then this is the hotel for you.

Short walking distance to subway, neighborhood has all the restaurants we love to go. Very helpful front desk, very generous to extent one hour check out.

The hotel location was good, and the bed was clean. We booked two rooms (in the mid August), and the bathroom of one of the rooms was strange. There was a water leak coming from the shower booth, which messed up the whole bathroom. The other room's bathroom was fine because it was a tube with a shower curtain. Many young people from all of the countries stayed there. Receptionists were not kind. Fortunately, I did not expect any hospitality from them as I read reviewer comments. The hotel was not crowded, and using the elevators was fine. The hotel area was very expensive even though it was located a bit far from the city center. I stopped by the city supermarket across the bridge (tesco was closed down), and everything was expensive. If you take a taxi to go to Yu Garden or Bund from the hotel, it can range from 25 to 40 CNY. Make sure you ask a taxi driver to hit the meter.

No wifi in the room good location near from dapuqiao metro station

Good for a family vacation with many members, especially if any has food allergy because the hotel has a small kitchen for us. I love it!

Very good location is nearly the center of Shanghai..Airport shuttle bus station is one block away only at RMB 20. Subway #9 is also one block away, Xintiandi, Yu Garden, NanjingRoan and THe Bund is 20 minutes by the subway. Many restaurants around hotel and a Shopping Mall called Riyueguang Department Store is opposite. It is a standard 4 stars hotel.

THE HOTEL ITS OK NOT BAD . NO WIFI IN THE ROOMS !!!! IS NEAR FROM THE BLUE LINE METRO STATION DABUQIAO AROUND 500 MTS.

it is very easy to shopping, dining, and transportation, very good location.

The hotel is located at the very center of Shanghai. Many restaurants and a large shopping mall with Subway No. 9 station opposite.

Very rude staff and shower did not work and they take another 200rmb for deposit. Never ever go here or to Shanghai.

Nice clean and comfortable room. Easy access to everywhere. Broad band Internet access is free for the deluxe rooms, but not the standard ones. It would be nice if the hotel could provide WI FI. The only place in the building has WI FI access is at the coffee shop on the first floor across from the check-in counter.

Arrived at the hotel at 2:30 but was told that the room was not available. Waited till about 3:30 before I could check in! Was told that due to the late check-out till 2pm, the room was not ready. This is not an explanation nor an excuse befitting a four-star hotel.

Very comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is near a major shopping mall with great dining options. Just a short walk to the Dapuqiao or Jiashan Road subway station. It is easy to get to main attractions around the city,

Good location. Close to shopping area and local food stalls. Good lighting in the room. Beds are comfortable. The staff were helpful and willing, providing good tips and information for tourists.

The rooms are tiny but tend to be clean. Stay away of this place if you are expecting some service from the staff. Good value if you book online, different prices at the front desk. I would recommend a different place although this is a good start point to shanghai, really close to the sub. Recommend it for just 1 night.

we chose this hotel/service apt for its location, with convenient public transport, bus to and from both airports, near metro station and quite a few restaurants near by. the room is a bit small, but the balcony is huge. bath room is clean and adequate. the front desk is effecient for check in and out. the only issue we had was the concierge. we told the concierge the night before we check out that we wanted to book a taxi to the airport early morning about 6:30am. there was no taxi the next morning when we check out. it was never arranged. luckily it was easy enough to hail taxi just outside the hotel
