The hotel's location at Lujiazui makes it a very convenient location to commute to various meetings within the city. The club room is spacious and comfortable, offering panoramic views of the city's skyline. The club rooms also offer plenty of food and drink. Located nearby are many malls which one can browse in the evenings. All these make for a great business hotel in the city. If there were one tiny area for improvement it would be a shorter wait for the check in although I understand that it was busy and that the staff were trying their best.

When the smog was cooperating, the view from my 74th Floor room was amazing! The room was well appointed. Very comfortable and roomy. I needed distilled water for my CPAP machine and emailed them in advance. They said they would provide it. I assumed there would be a cost but there was none, and they provided much more than I needed for my stay! The spa and swimming pool were first rate! My one quibble is that there isn;t a moderate priced eating option in the hotel. The food at the Grand Cafe was excellent, but way too pricy.

excellent view from the 32nd floor with jacuzzi and welcome drink;) highly recommended! it is around 10euros to go there and admire this beautiful panorama of modern pudong!just few people know abt it!

Went to lunch here with my husband and son for a special occasion, while visiting Shanghai. Very disappointed, mainly with the service. We were like the invisible people. Unless you waved your hands to get attention the staff had blinkers on. We had to get our own menus from the waiters station, then request to order. 2 selected A la carte and one the buffet. Food was fine, not outstanding, but the service detracted from the overall experience. A table of business men next to us were making big work of the buffet and had plates stacked on plates, yet staffed just walked past. I wouldn't go back.

I have been a loyal Hyatt customer. Have stayed in Grand Hyatt Shanghai many times before and always enjoyed it. The last trip there was wonderful all the way until the last day when I checked out. To avoid the crowd on the 54th floor (main counters), I checked out at the Executive Desk on the 83rd floor. The manager on duty, Angela Liu, was cold and didn't show any interest or care for the customers. On top of that, the equipment wasn't working properly there (according to Angela Liu) and at the end we had to go back to the 54th floor, and she didn't even apologize! The whole checkout process took over half an hour! I left there wondering if I should explore other hotels in Shanghai in the future. I almost missed my flight because the delay put me into the peak morning traffic time! After I returned home, I found that my stay wasn't even recorded in my account even though I provided my membership information and it was printed on my receipt too. I had to call customer services to have it added back in.

Still impressive luxury hotel in iconic skyscraper (now only the 3rd tallest) in the heart of the Financial district in walking distance to some key Pudong attractions, luxury hotels/restaurants, office buildings and shopping. Modern and well equipped rooms with fabulous river and city views. Unique piano bar with 30+ floors open atrium. Several top restaurants and iconic high floor bar "Cloud 9" with spectacular views. Well stocked Club Lounge with friendly staff. Nice spa, sauna, steam room and pool. In short it is still a great hotel, although there are newer and more luxurious ones around. Good value!

I’m glad I stayed in this iconic building, though I probably won’t return. My biggest issues: -Staff did not recognize my status or accommodate any room requests -Staff was extremely slow and long waits, both during check-in and at breakfast -Rooms are aging and feel old -Windows small, based on building construction -rooms were uncomfortably hot... A/C didn’t function The pool was definitely the highlight! Go early when there’s nobody else there.

Very last minute reservation, got upgraded to Bund View Suite with my Hyatt Globalist membership. 1. Awesome view, superb location in Lujiazui, the financial district of Shanghai. Jinmao is one of the landmarks in Shanghai. 2. Decent Club lounge and great service, a lot of business travelers, I would consider Grand Hyatt Shanghai for leisure as well

I have stayed at the Grand Hyatt Pudong many times and I always find it very enjoyable. Upon my arrival I was greeted and welcomed to the hotel with offer to help with my luggage. Once I reached the 54th floor Lobby I was greeted warmly by Sunny in the reception area who lead me to the counter for check in. I was checked in promptly but did not catch the name of the person that checked me in and was then greeted by Sophia from the restaurant area welcoming me back. My overall stay was very pleasant and I slept very well in the nice guest room. I was also helped by Carrie Ma in the lounge area, she was very nice and provided me with a fresh juice and place to sit during my breakfast. I was in a rush to catch my flight and had to check out quickly that morning so her help in getting me food was very appreciated. My checkout was also handled very promptly by a European man on the 83rd floor, unfortunately I did not catch his name either. I look forward to my next stay at the Grand Hyatt in the next month or two.

The views from my room where amazing during the day and at night. The room itself was pretty special with a fresh bowl of fruit each day. A great selection from the breakfast buffet and attentive staff
