Staff at front desk was difficult and mean, my reservation was wrong and they refused to correct it, ended up paying for an extra day that I was not there at all. My shower drain was clogged and the rain shower did not work, the room had a musty moldy smell.
great hotel to stay and close to majority of shopping area. The hotel still doing some renovation, perhaps next visit will have a more convenient entrance

If you want to stay at a place that is a great location and has a breathtaking city view, this is the hotel! We were on the 57th floor. The room itself is very comfortable but can use an update, meaning a bit old.
The hotel is conveniently located next to People's Square with easy access throughout Shanghai and to/from PVG. It is located directly on Nanjing Road and has an awesome view of the Pudong skyscrapers. The pool and fitness center were top notch. I would highly recommend this hotel!
