That is definitely the best view in Shanghai!! As normally during business trips you have very limited time to go out, here I did not even have to! You can just stare at the window and get your best. The service is excellent as well, suprisingly staff can speak good English (not an often thing in China) and food was amazing at the restaurants, all in all stayed pretty happy!!
All my friends from Shanghai recommend this hotel to me with #1 ranking. In April 2018, I have been there for a business trip and I understood why everyone has insisted. The city experience is unique from the check-in to the last day of your stay. The staff anticipate your needs and the rooms are amazingly confortable. With a busy schedule, it is great when your hotel is not only a place to sleep but also a bubble of heaven. Obviously, the food is very good.
This was our first trip to Shanghai and the location provided easy walking access to the main areas around The Bund. The views were outstanding, the rooms comfortable, and the staff helpful. Would certainly stay there again on our next visit.
Rex Sun the Front Office Manager went out of his way to try and help us fix a double booking at this beautiful hotel in Shanghai. He was kind and considerate and worked really hard to try and help us. His English was perfect!!! What an asset he is to the Hyatt!!
Great location, walking distance to the Bund. A few stores new by to grab food. The open bathroom is nice because you can close the partitions. The room was pretty fairly clean. No big problems with the hotel other than price gouging at $8usd for a coffee. But the view from the room was phenomenal.
Staying at Hyatt on the Bund makes you feel you are at the very heart of the whole world. I mean you could have the same feeling when looking out of the window from State Empire Building only with ten times the rent. I guess the rule book says you could have only one Grand Hyatt in a city but this Hyatt on the Bund is of no less value than that of any GH properties elsewhere. Very easy access to night life of the highest level in Shanghai, and check out the view of this amazing photo taken from my room and you know this is exactly the kind of experience you want to bring home after a visit to the most charming city in Far East.
I've had the incredible opportunity to stay at some very nice, luxury hotels. The Hyatt on the Bund was my favorite experience. I stayed in a basic room in the East Tower. The views were incredible. The room was wonderful. The bed was soft, the shower had the optional "rain-forest shower." The staff was incredibly kind. Alexandre Pelouard was very kind and helpful during our stay. The pool and gym was wonderful. It's walking distance to the Bund. A great little convenience is perfectly located on the corner. The room-service food was great.
This is a classy hotel, but not stuffy. Service and staff attitude are excellent. Rooms on river side have a wonderful view of the dramatic Shanghai skyline as well as the river with its constant and interesting boat traffic.
This Hotel was recommended to us by our Tour Operator and I can say that we were not disappointed. It was well located, very close to The Bund and the views at night were amazing from the Club Lounge. We received excellent service in the Club Lounge and the variety of food was amazing. We stayed for three nights and we were not disappointed, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Would not hesitate in recommending this hotel, will definitely return should we come back to Shanghai.
Very nice hotel. It was a wonderfull stay. Good service, good food, nice service. I spent there 4 days with my wife to visit the city and it was fantastic. Incredible views from the bar at the top of the building. For sure 100% recomendable
