This was either the most delapitated or second most delapitated room i have ever stayed in. Peeling paint, paint patched walls, old and stained carpet. Deep wear and staining on contacr areas. Not cleaned well. It was functional, had no bugs and was otherwise close to attractions
AC didn't work well. Room was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable.
I will come back next time
The front desk staff was excellent and very accommodating! We arrived later than expected and they offered to leave the pool and hot tub open for an extra hour so that I could enjoy it. Both ladies were lovely and kind!

We stayed for one night and it was a weekend that was completely sold out. There wasn’t any rollaway beds available. Arriving there around 1pm the woman at the front desk was not welcoming. Asked for my name asked for my card and checked me in. Did not bother to tell me anything about the property (what hours someone was in the office, or a number to call if we needed anything). Going to our room which was on the 2nd floor, we were surprised to see that our room had a flight of stairs inside the room. We had earwig bugs or pincher bugs on the carpet. The bed was the most uncomfortable. The walls are very thin and you can hear when people are coming up the stairs or walking down the hallway. There is no smoking allowed in the rooms but ours smelled like someone was smoking in it prior. The experience wasn’t the best.
Great location near the mission and near the shops. Only downside was that they didn’t provide soap in the rooms.

The room was very comfortable and the pool was great. We liked the location, being very convenient to walk to different areas, yet being on the outer edge of town where it was more quiet.
Comfortable bed, coffee in the room and continen breakfast. Courteous service with a smuile.
It was a quaint place that provided us what we needed to enjoy our first stay in Solvang. Perfectly located at the edge of the town to have easy access to explore. The architecture is in the style of the town and the furniture in the rooms match the feel of the town. The front office staff was very friendly and very helpful. The pool was heated and the jacuzzi required reservations that helped us feel safe. Overall satisfied with our experience.
The place js walking distance to everything which is very convenient.
So dark at the entrance to my room. Needs more lighting overall.
