Clean, roomy, comfortable beds, warm pool, good food and close to everything.

Very run down. Gates broken, internet down for two days, moldy hot tub, unresponsive front desk staff. Wouldn't recommend for a family vacation.

We upgraded to a room with an awesome view for a small fee and it was totally worth it!

My room is on 9 floors very nice view balcony room is with sectional sofa and king bed very comfortable

Older hotel that has been remodeled. Is right on the bay, which was nice, but there were added fees such as a "hotel fee" of $50. The website eluded that off street parking or valet parking was available, however when we arrived they told us we couldn't park on the street and had a parking fee of $38 a night. Funny thing was, after we paid, other cars were parked on the street.

I was charged through Orbitz, and than the hotel charged me in top of that... I told them 10 minutes after checking in once I checked my account. According to them the charge was reversed, which was Tuesday last week... still didn't get my money back, dissapointing...

Hotel was comfortable & clean. Staff was friendly & location felt private. Also we had an awesome view of the bay.

We previously stayed at the Hyatt at Mission Bay. We enjoy the hotel, facilities, location and staff.

This property is in need of major renovation. I am surprised Hyatt puts its name on it to be honest. I don't recommend.

Nice enough hotel. They were running late checking people in. The girl at the desk found us a quieter room in the tower for $15 per night. There were chips under the bed from the previous guests. Swim bar is nothing much. Pool area is ok but tons of kids. Wanted to sit by a fire pit at night, they only one lit was full of kids. Wanted to have a drink at the restaurant later at night but it was closed. Breakfast in the morning was good, but again tons of kids. They advertise as a chic hotel, not so much. It's really a family hotel. I usually do my research, but this was a last minute trip and the room was cheap. I wouldn't stay here again.

We got the standard room. Moldy bathroom and unclean. Air conditioning broke twice during our 4night stay and ended up with a ceiling leak! Dead bugs in room and inexperidnced staff. Regret that we changed where we stay each year and attempted a new hotel.

This hotel although is in a very convenient location is not worth the price. You are directly under the flight path so you have aircraft noise all day and late into the night. Your choices of a "view room" are either directly over the VERY noisey pool or on the other side of the tower facing a busy LOUD marina. Barking seals and boat traffic will keep you up all night. My view consisted of the trash area and a parking lot. Thankfully, the hotel had ear plugs but even those didn't block out the noise of a fight being broken up at 1am by 3 police cars blaring sirens. I am a flight attendant and travel weekly and have stayed in 1,000's of hotels in my 18 year career. This hotel, although pretty is a terrible choice if you like to sleep.

Great place to stay, no complaints! Awesome breakfast at the Red Marlin. Angelica at the front desk was an amazing help as well!

Hotel could improve in cleanliness and room updates, but staff and location are great. We did have a poor concierge lady who wasn't sure how far away Sea World was. Beach and sea world are walking distance. Pool was great.

The hotel is nice. My grievance is that they charge $36 a day parking and a resort fee on top of that. Hotel is not located in a urban center, no need to charge fees this high.

We needed to be in San Diego for work and decided to make a family weekend trip out of it. The resort works well for families and is in a prime location. We got a package deal which included the $25/person breakfast buffet at the Red Marlin and $35/day parking. The buffet is a large, generous selection of your favorite breakfast foods: eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, pancakes, danishes, fruit, etc. (The $3 add on egg benedict was delicious.) The Red Marlin, the hotel restaurant has TERRIFIC service, the food is good, a little over produced. Think, heavy spices and sauces, but still a decent value. We had a Garden View room (not in the tower), which had a generous floor plan, more akin to a studio apartment with a really nice semi-private patio deck. However, the room had a mild, but noticeable, mildew odor and every morning there were a couple of mosquitos in the bathroom. if we were staying longer, I would have requested another room.

We stayed and enjoyed the great balcony, the fantastic work out room and nice pool area. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff member Laura was extremely kind and helpful suing our stay. Great choice in San Diego

I had a very good experience with Hyatt before, but this hotel makes me think twice before booking at Hyatt. We got a old hotel room, where bath tub tap is damaged, and overall was an uncomfortable stay. We stayed only for a night, but had to pay around 64$ for resort and parking fee.

Heated pool with a great slide and casual dining area. Great location!

I fell in love with San Diego, and this seashore hotel. It's nicer than the others near by, which I saw during our conference. Family and pet friendly. A needed home away from home.
