Clean modern room. Courteous staff. Nice in hotel bar. In room Starbucks coffee and tea. Pet friendly. Please add microwave to room
Honestly, I have lived in the Southcoast Metro area for so long and I always saw the Westin as the epicenter of the area, it looks so grand from the outside, the prices reflect its grandness. However, once inside it's a bit of a letdown. First, there is no spa/jacuzzi/hot tub anywhere on the property. Second, the Lobby restaurant could offer better choices, ie.) Charging Chicken Tenders as if they're gourmet entrees. I wish I had just walked over to any restaurant across at Southcoast Plaza. Third, neither management nor staff noticed how rowdy the teenagers were playing in the pool (tossing footballs across the 30-foot pool) disrupting the other guests, or playing handball on the sidewall of the hotel. (Now I don't want to make it about race but it is amazing how much white kids/teenagers can get away with at hotels) I was out in the patio area amongst other adults drinking, eating appetizers it's 10 pm when a flock of toddlers is just running wild around our table. Just makes no sense. Other than that, the property looks beautiful, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I think it's just the details mentioned above that were the nail in the coffin for me ever returning. Also, having busloads of teenagers, come stay for a sports event at what looks to be online a mini-resort is not ideal for those just looking to relax.
Location is great but main entrance is too crowded
The property was excellent and the rooms were beautiful. Great experience
Such great customer service, absolutely the best
I have to pay for the parking even tho I was staying with them.
The property did not respond to messages sent via Orbitz. Bonvoy Gold Elite status was not honored and upgrade not provided. Checked into a room with a broken fridge. The room was not cleaned for 2 days despite requesting cleaning. Brown water in the faucet for half a day
Everything was great ! Clean rooms, comfy beds and very polite helpful employees
Golda was excellent checking me in. Just wished that the resort and parking fee was waived since all amenities were closed. Parking was already $39 plus resort fee is ridiculous when the POOL, GYM, and everything else is CLOSED.
Facilities, room, food were great. However, customer service was awful. When I realized the hotel was using the wrong last name for my stay I offered to correct it but the person "helping me" washed her hands claiming she couldn't do anything about it, furthermore, she became somehow rude when I asked the reason of them using the wrong last name. Now of course, I'm having issues getting my reimbursement since it was a business stay. Also, the hotel couldn't give me a receipt with the room cost claiming that the third party (orbitz) should have done so, which they did, but as a consumer I'm entitled to get the receipt directly from the Hotel with their logo so my reimbursement has no delays.
I stayed two nights and this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. It was a Motel 6 experience and I paid over 300 dollars for this.
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. 5 STARS across the board. Service / Cleanliness / Attention To Detail / Location are all perfect.
Room was polished like a diamond...ALL team members (chauffeur, concierge, restaurant, cleaning) professionals delivering a High Status experience. Conversationally curious, engaging, and genuinely interested in creating a great experience for me. Great location to do many things. Highly recommended.
