When approached the front desk and requested to book two rooms, manager told us that they were sold out, walked outside, logged onto Orbitz and booked 2 rooms. Returned to frontdesk and checked in.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Restaurant was just okay and overpriced. Parking was only valet which also pricier than we would have liked and less convenient. Room was spacious and quiet. Ambiance was nice. Overall good stay with the kids. Could use some games stocked up there for families to make it more friendly.

We recently stayed at Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe with work friends and had a pleasant experience. The resort is centrally located, making it convenient to explore the area. Our suite was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable environment for our group. While we couldn't utilize all the facilities, the indoor heated pool and hot tub looked inviting. The resort also offers various amenities, including a fitness center. Overall, Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe provided a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would consider returning in the future.

The hotel was very nice and the staff members were very welcoming. It is in a great location with shopping, food, and casinos close by. We enjoyed our stay. There were a few things that my group was less than impressed with. First, we all had to pay a resort fee. This isn’t a resort. It is a normal hotel with a famous name. It has a very small indoor pool next to a super small workout facility. A real resort has amenities and attractions that keep you on the premises. Not sure why there is a resort fee. Maybe because we get to take a picture with a flip flop or because they have two restaurants. Also, valet service could be better. The valet staff were all huddled in a room inside that we had to go in search of for help. The front desk staff were wonderful and inviting. Come Monday breakfast staff were awesome. The JWB steakhouse staff and food were a pleasure. The bartenders at the landshark were great and fun to talk to. Overall a great experience and location.

I did not like it. It feels overpriced for the type of hotel. We had early check in and was told there were no availability, then they gave us a dirty room, promised discounts to fix it. overcharged my credit card and gave me a less spoken discount. Just not good. I would not recommend it.

Nice family getaway to Tahoe in the summer

We enjoyed our 2nd stay at this hotel. The rooms are nicely renovated and the location is excellent. The hotel pool is not heated during the summer so it was a bit chilly for us. The gym is good, but one suggestion would be towels and a water station as it gets pretty warm. The live lobby music in the evenings provides a nice ambience. Rooms were clean and everything worked well.

They’ve done a nice transformation of the property and amenities, but there are some areas that could be improved: - We woke up every morning with sore backs, so something’s wrong with the beds. - The furniture isn’t designed for comfort - the cushions and pillows are really spongy. - There were no outlets in sight by the bed. I think the lamps might have USB ports, but I needed an outlet. The one behind the bed is covered by the headboard that doesn’t move, so it was a struggle to get to the outlet. Otherwise, the stay was good. The bars were good, breakfast buffet was good. You can beat the proximity to the casinos if that’s your thing.
