Staff very friendly and helpful. The room we got was not the best due to it was right next to the pool and walls are thin. So you could hear the people and kids screaming late at night in the pool. Room wasn’t too bad. Floors were carpet and stained. Rooms can tell need some upgrades. But overall a nice area to stay. Best not next to the pool area.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Fogcather Inn. Easy walk to the beach or Boardwalk option. Lovely sunset, fire pit and heated pool/spa. Especially loved all the restaurant options close by. Highly recommend this Inn.

From the moment we stepped into the Fogcather office to check in to the last minute of our stay, we loved every minute. Julii was so friendly and even joked with us as we checked in. June who was the manager was delightful and even upgraded our room to an ocean front. June also helped us get acquainted with local wines and even let us use wine glasses to enjoy our Hearst wine. This place is a nice delightful place, cozy and clean. Most of all those that work here created an atmosphere of warmth and welcome.

Absolutely RECOMMEND!! Fantastic location, right across the street from gorgeous Moonstone Beach and minutes from Cambria downtown. (Which is such a beautiful and lovely downtown with shops and restaurants that are so good). The property is so beautiful. The rooms are just so quaint yet elegant. No A/C, just a beautiful electric fireplace. The beds are SUPER comfy, the pillows too! Like; for real, so much I thought about asking to buy a pillow. The towels are soft too. And the shower head has a strong stream! Genuinely this place is just amazing! I want to come back today!!

Rustic but not charming

We were not informed that we had to request for housekeeping the night before. We stayed 3 nights. I ended up borrowing a vacuum from the house cleaner to vacuum the sand and dirt from the beach. We had to go to the front office to request for more coffee and tissue paper. The walls are thin and we can hear the upstairs guest walking and moving furniture. The chair and bench fabric cushions were dirty. The only good thing about the hotel was the pool, which was heated and had a glass wall for the winds.
