There was an awesome view of The Russian River and the sun setting over the ocean from our room.

The Unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom has no opening window but there was no fan. Great river view from the picture window with 2 chairs, the table could have been bigger.

The cottage we stayed in was absolutely lovely. They made sure everything was Covid safe and clean for us and gave us great local hikes and nature-watching spots to check out. There was even some wi-fi we could access at the house which we didn't think there would be! This was truly a magical little spot to spend a milestone birthday during a pandemic. Quiet and tucked into its own little spot right on the river with a view to the ocean and two chairs set up on a little side deck separate from the house as an extra bonus.

Nice ownership, very helpful. The wi-fi is very rough and hardly any cell service. Rooms were clean and fresh and the staff very accommodating.

Great stay! Food was delicious. Quiet. Friendly staff.

I love the people there both staff and customers. They are very helpful and courteous. But the condition of the property was not very presentable. Most importantly the heater did not work. So there were 2 portable heaters that were not sufficient enough to worm the room. I was freezing in the thin blankets. They came to fix but it looked to me that it never worked for a while. Thus there were portable heaters. Also, via Orbitz there was only Suite available which was most expensive. However, there were few other rooms available when we got there and hotel did not seem so busy. I will go back to the hotel again for kayaking next time but when we do not need a heater and call the hotel direct to make a booking, Orbitz!

Great location and great staff, but my room was simply awful. It looked different online, and upon arrival, I was really disappointed. The towels smelled, there was dust everywhere, the bed was hard as a rock, the room was too small and cold, the bathroom was freezing cold, but it had hot water, and the wall was paper thin so I can hear my next-door occupants do whatever they were doing. The breakfast was basic, and I think the price I paid was pretty hefty for what I got.

Rooms right on the water. Four rooms per building, can get a little noisy. Starting to feel dated.

The property was grossly misrepresented on the website and is nothing like shown in the pictures. It is old, dirty and smelly. It doesn't have TV or cell service. The windows don't lock so anyone could have broken into our room. The innkeeper was extremely rude. It's extremely overpriced. We wanted to check out a day early because it was so bad, but they wouldn't give us our money back. Once the innkeeper found out we wanted to check out early, she turned into a monster and treated us very poorly. Literally, the only thing this property has going for it is its location. Everything else is terrible! I hope this review will prevent someone else from wasting their time and money here.

Location on coast was good. Room reeked with smell of bleach and cleaning chemicals-I woke in the night to a sore throat. There are products which are not as unhealthy-for the prices of rooms the innkeeper should do a sniff test of his rooms. Bathroom floor disgusting- linoleum molding and pulling up. Parking spot near impossible to get into unless you have a small AWD vehicle. Floor in breakfast area was dirty. Although, advertising bar and restaurant it was closed the night we were there. This should have been disclosed in the booking info.

The Heron room was great. We loved the deck right in the water. The view was incredible.

It's a nice hotel. Only thing is the internet connection was not that good.

Room was nice like the gas fireplace . Bed was comfy but super squeeky...

Very nice little cottage with a fireplace and a view of the ocean.

The room & scenic view was pleasant. However, it would have been more favorable if the room would have had a radio & a land line since the rooms came without a TV. Their WiFi stunk, slow as molasses, was not able to view or play any music or watch any Netflix on my I-phone.

This is definitely a place you want to arrive at while it is still light. We arrived when it was almost dark and it was difficult to find our room and then walk down wooden stairs when it was practically dark. Take a flashlight just in case. Room was OK. Space heater is the only heating. Older heating in the bathroom was inoperable. View would have been great on a clear day. We got there during a storm. A quite loud storm, so sleep was elusive for both of us, especially trying to control a very old space heater that looked like a radiator from my dad's Victorian apartment he lived in years ago in SF. Would have been good to have a "how to use the space heater" guide like the "how to use the shower guide" that they did provide. Breakfast was nothing special, but something in your stomach before heading out to the wineries or wherever you're going to end up. Fruit (banana), cereal, OJ, coffee, bread products, and HB eggs. When we were there, the sinks in both of the restaurant bathrooms were not working, but they seemed to jump on it when we told them.
