The room was far away and the facility (pool etc) was small and don’t deserve the resort fee at all. This is not a hotel. I was deceived by the website pictures and false reviews.
The staff were very nice and helpful. Parking is 40 per day. Walkable to beach.

A beautiful property near central Santa Barbara. Excellent staff. Love the fresh coffee and tea in the mornings. Bathrooms would be better with ventilation and the hot tub is a bit small, three couples is a crowd. But overall a lovely stay for the weekend.

Staff was pleasant, however the website give a very different picture of what the actual hotel is. It completely over represents it. Hotel is a basic hotel and not worth the very OVER priced nightly rate. The motel 6 right behind it would probably be just as nice.

The location of this hotel can't be beat! Right across the street from the beach. We enjoyed the pool area. We checked in on a Monday and the restaurant was closed. The food options at the pool café were extremely limited. After a long drive to get there, we had to go out in search of food. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Internet not good, house keeping service very limited…limited dining.,.still recovering from COVID…should improve in future … pricey!

We underwent a full renovation in 2020, however, the hotel is nearly 100 years old, so each room is a bit different. We understand your comment. We hope you give us another try in the future.
