Good and comfy room. Good for the price. I highly recommended

I don’t like the elevator is to old and don’t feel safe

My husband and I stayed here for a mini-honeymoon. It's a great location on state street. very walkable to all the shops and McConnell's ice cream. Its technically walkable to funk zone (plethora of bars and tasting rooms) - 10 min walk. the hotel room itself is updated. the elevator is old timey w/ a lot of character (aka SLOW). definitely take the stairs AND request a low floor. they require masks when you're out of your room and I noticed staff constantly cleaning. I felt very safe. Taylor, at the front desk, asked us what brought us in and upgraded us to a suite when she found out it was our honeymoon! thanks Taylor!!

Clean and comfortable, and close to everything. The perfect location to be in the heart of things

Great location, large clean room. The pillows were awfully hard and bulky. Should provide a couple of flat pillows in the closet for those customers who prefer that. The front desk person who checked us in, was not very friendly, neither told us that breakfast would not be served which is understandable due to the virus, However, the key envelope said Continental breakfast included. at least inform the client, also we had to ask about parking, which there was an additional fee we were not aware off. Housekeeping people around the building also did not greet clients, although they were standing around the lobby as we checked in.

Great, clean, accommodating hotel. Very central part of Santa Barbara. Rent bikes and you can get pretty much anywhere in 10 minutes

They charge extra for parking. Which was not mentioned before hand.

I like how it's close to many entertainment places and to the train station. Very convenient to walk around. Amenities are satisfactory and the beds are comfortable, so I would definitely come back again.

Location is perfect for walking to the beach and enjoying State street.

Location is almost perfect and the property is in great shape.

Cute hotel, very centralized area of State Street!

Very handy location! Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff.

Read reviews about the smaller rooms than advertised on the photos and asked if there was a bigger room available. Was told for $50 they could put me in a slightly larger room (still queen bed) and I agreed. Was later charged $50/ night rather than the $50 total I was told. Tried to clarify with hotel but they weren’t bothered. Front desk staff unhelpful and cold. Wouldn’t stay again as there are much nicer options with friendlier and more helpful staff elsewhere.

This room was the size of a hamster cage. No place to put luggage, closet filled with furniture. Do not stay here! Major claustrophobia.

Walkable distance to restaurants. We stayed on state street. Some noise at night but overall great place. Valet only

Thank you for your feedback Celia. The elevator does have vintage components, but it is safe! Just slow. We like to say that a trip through history takes a little time. Hope to have you back again soon.
