Travelodge San Francisco Airport-North

Our hotel was clean and close to the airport with a free shuttle, which was nice. However, there were holes in the curtains that looked like they were burned into the curtains (even though it was a non smoking room) and the walls were paper thin. People were loud into the night and early the next morning. I am a light sleeper, so this was very difficult for me.

Where to start, nasty room? Rude, tatted up , hateful receptionist, extortion after cc charged for more money. Would say stay away, orbitz didn't help , week to get refund after not staying. Won't use the service again either.

I booked this hotel for my son , who was flying out from SFO early morning, he lost his wallet and had no credit card, the hotel refused to book him, even though the hotel and a month of parking ha been prepaid! He offered to pay the required security deposit in cash, but they refused. NO attempt was made to help a person, who had no choice because it would have been impossible to replace the credit card! Bad business and awful customer service!

Friendly service at check-in. Very clean. Excellent value - through Orbitz. Not fancy, but amazing value.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Went out of their way to make my stay pleasant.

I only stayed for one night to catch an early morning flight from San Francisco airport and it was nice and the bed was comfortable the shuttle to the airport was on time and convenient

Its facility was so so. It's smell was horrible. I ventilated for two days, the smell simply not went away. There were no parking slots near the room, very inconvenient. The bathroom door was a pulling one. It was hard to open or close.

Nice hotel to stay. They offer free transfer from/to airport, some amenities like swimming pool, fast wifi. Just few miles from downtown (11 miles).

Hotel needs major renovation. Fan in bathroom was noisy, bathtub has a rust spot on it, water pressure was poor...at first couldn't turn on but maintenance man came up and fixed it immediately, frame work on door in bathroom was partially gone at the bottom that touched the floor. Trash was not emptied from the previous guests. When we checked out, Mgr was mopping up a minor flood in the front lobby. Upper level walkway concrete cracked and crumbling. Walls thin and sonically transparent. If I was this company, I wouldn't want to hang my sign on this place. For the price they charged, I expected much more. Staff was friendly and sympathetic. They deserve a better building in which to work.

They offer $11/night parking and are close to SFO. We stayed overnight for an early morning flight. We asked for a wake up call and never got one so be forewarned to set your own alarm. When we mentioned this at the desk they just shrugged. No apology. Amenities lacking so bring your own there as well. We parked for four nights so the convenience factor outweighed any criticisms. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes so plan accordingly.

Basics were ok. Fine for one night before early flight. Only chair stained.

The location is excellent. The shuttle service is on time, frequent and the service provided is excellent. The room that I had # 317 needs major repairs. The walls are in a bad shape and one of the bathroom walls is badly cracked which can one bring additional damages and mold. The light fixtures are in a poor condition and have a poor connection to the outage which can be hazardous to my opinion. The shower and floors had hairs and didn't look clean. The cleanliness is highly impacted by the poor condition of the room which needs repairs. I wish I would of taken some pictures to show the poor condition of the room.

What was good: Inexpensive, convenient to the airport, free shuttle service to airport, safe, hot and cold running water, clean. The bed was comfortable. What was not so good: Room had a sofa bed in addition to the king sized bed, but there would have been no way to open it as the room was small. The sofa bed was old and the upholstery ripped. The drape was falling down and was in the way of closing the door - I complained about this and someone came and fixed it almost immediately. There was no lock on the bathroom door. All in all, for my one night stay with the objective of easily making a 6 a.m. flight, it was okay.

We were on the freeway side and it was very noisy. Otherwise OK for a near-airport stay.

My last minute booking gave me a room without a working shower. Simply unacceptable.

Dirty place, over priced and the pictures on the website were false!!!!!! Never again!!!!!!

Humble appearance, plenty of parking space, enough chairs, desks, and lamps, strong toilet and bed. It feels like quintessential American!

Dirty floor, really old tub, and cockroaches climbing the walls. I slept in my clothes as the place was so dirty. I have nothing good to say except the heater worked. If you pay more than 60 bucks, you will be disappointed.... the more you pay the more dissatisfaction!

Except the shuttle bus there is nothing for the motel. No breakfast, nothing.Poor condition just stay here for transfer flight. Even the shuttle bus ,remember pay more tips to the driver otherwise he will be angry.

Mold, unclean, smells dreadful. Someone knocked on our door during the night. Wifi did not work.
