The staff is horrible, it's hard to get staff to answer phone calls
My king suite room was nothing but a normal hotel room except it had a table. The problems started even before I got there. I had a question for the front desk staff before I arrived, so I called them. They put me on hold, where I waited for over twenty minutes. I finally just hung up because I figured it would be faster to just drive there and ask someone in person. On first glance this hotel is run-down and tired. And it only goes downhill from there. The property is next to the freeway, so the noise from the cars is loud and constant. The filthy, aging carpet in the room was all bunched up, so I ended up tripping over it several times. There were no towels in my room. I tried to call the front desk to ask for more, but the phone in the room was broken. The hotel promises WIFI, which is crucial for me, since I needed to work from my room. The WIFI was the worst I've ever had at a hotel. It frequently didn't work at all in my room, and when it did work it was too slow to use and the service kept dropping off at a rate of about 2 times per minute. (I connect to work with a VPN, so this made it so I couldn't work at all.) And, this room wasn't cheap, either. If all you need is a place to sleep by the airport and you plan to spend no time in your room AND you don't need internet access, AND you have no other choice, then stay there. But, otherwise I would skip it. I will certainly never stay in this hotel again.

Got a room that had problems but staff upgraded me no charge and was very nice .
Was an ok stay for the price. Needs to be remodeled and bathroom fixtures needs to be updated especially the shower.
The room was little dirty (there was even an empty beer bottle under the table) and some wiring was exposed in the bathroom, which was a little frightening. But it was extremely close to the airport and convenient. Great for the night before a flight, not for any longer than that.
The GM was rude, irritable and hung up on me as I attempted to make deposit payment for incidentals for my family's stay. I could not be present there with my credit card and just wanted to pay for my sister and her child whose flights were delayed. Travelodge reservations told me how to do it (fax picture ID and credit card authorization) but the GM would not hear it. Zero stars.
The theory is that a hotel is conducive to sleeping. Forget that. Terrible sound proofing allows the freeway next door to be your constant companion while airplanes directly overhead rattle the windows at 1AM. There are even train horns to add to the mix. I downloaded a decibel meter on my phone and took a reading at 4AM when a particularly loud motorcycle woke me yet again. The ambient sound level was 60 decibels meaning that the noise level in your room is never below two people having a conversation. The level spikes to 80 decibels when the planes go overhead - enough to wake even sound sleepers. Beyond the shabby construction, the place is seedy - patched holes in the wall, wrinkled carpet, etc. Amazingly, the beds themselves are pretty good (but not the pillows). For $150/night go somewhere else.
Just had to switch luggage and sleep quickly. It went fine. Location great, a bit run down but I didn't care about that.
Some facilities are not user friendly. Overall, it is fine.
Rude staff, broken hair dryer and broken phone. Every time we needed something like toilet paper (because they couldn't understand the concept of needing more than one roll) we had to call their corporate office to be transferred directly to the front desk because if you just call the number they wouldn't answer. I was there for 9 days and it was a terrible experience and when I tried talking to a manager about it at checkout they just said "oh..sorry" and that was it. Terrible customer service, dirty rooms, rude staff. Do not stay here
I have stayed at Travelodge (3 times) and many other hotels in the nearby area. The main advantage of this place is that it is usually cheaper than others. However, the mattress and internet are routinely poor and this time the shower was dripping. The internet signal is always very poor, so this can cause a lot of trouble if you depend on it. The mattress quality is poorer than average which can be problematic for a good night sleep. I can easily feel the springs of the mattress. For me, having a reasonable bed and good internet are two of the more important things. Therefore, I cannot recommend this place. As long as your budget allows (even just $20 more per day), there are better options
Checkin was ok and the clerk was quite friendly and professional. I was able to get a room close to the front which I requested in advance and for that I was thankful. The biggest issue I had occurred after I left. I believe that the representative that checked me in accidently kept my credit card. I tried several hours to contact the hotel and was either put on indefinite hold or no one answered. I finally gave up and cancelled my credit card. There's nothing quite as frustrating as trying to contact someone with an urgent matter with no success. I contacted Wyndham corporate offices and they were unable to make contact with the property as well.
The housekeepers doesn't clean much. They give dirty towels. They don't change linens. Not friendly.
One night, was okay for the price, would have like a microwave, refridgerator. And a bathtub. But it was functional.
The room was clean the tv was old the cabl was not working properly .the place is in need of a overhaul.

The hotel was standard. It was a last minute stay for us. It was comfortable and clean. The furniture, rug and ceiling was a bit worn and the wifi was not the greatest.
Booked this hotel last Halloween night last minute since we went out in sf. Checking was fast and friendly. Rooms are kinda old and definitely have some wear and tear issues, bathroom fan is loud. You get was you pay for, and the price was better than risking a dui. I wouldn't setup family here, but I would stay if I just needed a place to crash.
I have used Travelodge North many times for convenience and value. I appreciate the coffee in the room and location. Staff was friendly. But the hotel is becoming progressively tired and worn out. Holes in the linoleum floors. Poor caulking around the shower and bathroom. Missing shower door handles. In the morning the water was lukewarm - so I had no hot shower or hot water for shaving. Do not get a room facing the freeway.
