Ok Hotel if you have a budget, and need to be close to Oracle. The room size is quite decent, Working desk (table) is ok, but electrical outlets are not nearby. Grab & Go breakfast is effectively granola bar / muffin / piece of fruit and a coffee (might have juice as well). From the parking lot, the lobby is a little obscure, and the desk isn't run 24x7 (I checked in around 11pm and had to wake the front desk for my keys). The room and everything in it was clean. Its a little utilitarian, but then again, its an Extended Stay hotel... its to be expected. The shower head was almost off, and needed to be tightened (sprayed water everywhere).

We were staying overnight to recoop from a 10 hour flight from Europe! We chose this place to have a kitchen, as we were tired of eating out for the last month of travel. We only wanted to have something small and light. We were kind of surprised that there was Nothing in any of the kitchen cabinets or drawers, not a cup, glass, plate or a fork! We had walked a mile to get small ,easy food and drinks, then had to go downstairs and ask for kitchen supplies! We were also surprised that there wasn't a ice machine on the premises for convenience,(only ice trays). Which we didn't have time for! I guess with a name of extended stay we should have asked more questions about short stays. It cost about 23$ to get from the San Francisco International airport, using Uber pool. Everything else was good!

Great value for travelers looking for extended stay in Bay Area. Location allows quick access to highway 101. Rooms are large and very clean. Kitchenette is very useful for families. Staff is very friendly and responsive to guest's needs.

Extended Stay at Belmont is wonderful and you feel really at home I will not say that the personel do their job I will say they are for me like friends. I will definitely always choose this hotel where ever town I will go for sure

This place was an ok place to stay. Not great but not horrible. Good points: staff at front desk were extremely nice. They never got my reservation from even though I made it 3-4 weeks ago. Hotel staff was able to get us a room for a better deal than we got online. Room was clean. Not so good points: the room with 2 full size beds was small, as were the beds themselves. Hallway smelled like marijuana (smell didn't come into the room though). Definitely could hear the freeway noise (not too bad though). Like I said, not great but not horrible.

I had a very spacious and clean room, with a kitchen, A/C and good wifi. The hotel is close to the airport. Uber is 25$ to the airport and 10$ to San Mateo. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers basic breakfast: muffins, granola bars, coffee. Overall a very pleasant experience, and for a good price. The noise from the ventilation system in my room was a bit annoying overnight.

I joined my husband who was on a Business Trip for a vacation in June. From the first smile of your front desk employees, this was the perfect stay. They are very personable, helpful, fun and a joy to converse with. The room was fine, clean and comfortable with nice amenities (Flat TV, top stove, fridge, microwave, iron with board, hairdryer) and were provided coffee maker, toaster, and basic kitchen utensils. Had a weekly housekeeping and could request new towels whenever required before the housekeeping days from the front desk. The support staff at hotel are always courteous and ready to help whenever required. For example, quick fixing for chairs/ windows etc. The wifi worked great. The vending machine and laundary is nice. The washing machine and dryers are huge enough to wash 2 people's clothes for a week at one time. They have a grab and go breakfast, which can include more fresh fruits, bagel or bread/butter/jam or some cookies. We had to extend our stay twice in this place and the staff were very helpful in moving our stuff to other room and organising them back in new room. Parking area is well maintained and provide free parking for the cars. The overall attitude of the staff, seemed to really reflect an attitude of providing top service. Special Thanks to the below staff who made the stay very comfortable away from home(Apologies if I misspelt you names) Ashlyn, Mark, Naz, El, Norma, Manuel, Theodore, Lyn, Maria and Rony. And based on this experience, we are willing to be back again when we visit next time.

I only stayed one night. The location is right off the 101 freeway between Hwy 92 and Redwood City. It is easy to find. If you stay in the rooms 100-130, 200-230, 300-330, you will be on the backside of the hotel and it is very quiet. The front desk folks were polite. The wifi was free and worked for pulling email and mapping some locations. The parking is free too. The rooms are basic, mine was clean, no complaints. The breakfast is nothing to write home about. A bowl of fresh fruit (bananas and apples), would be a better option than a nature valley granola bar.

Came here on a Saturday night 11/7/2015 to find that the only room he had available for us was a room that was so filthy, it's beyond uninhabitable. There were pots and pans and towels scattered around, as seen on the photos included in this review, and it had a heavy, humid, curry-type scent that is so unbearable. The room had already been paid for through Expedia. But the response we got from the only person working this hotel at 11PM was even worse. First, customer service is nowhere to be found in his demeanor and attitude. Second, after what we went through in the 3 minutes that we spent going up to our room and finding how filthy it was, he had no sense of customer service to offer an apology. Instead, after getting a negative comment from a very tired and upset wife after a long drive from Los Angeles, he had the nerve to raise his voice in a very defensive and hostile manner. He first said in a condescending tone, "That's the only room that we have." As if we had no choice but to take it, or leave. And he said that it wasn't his fault that the room was in such a poor and filthy condition. OF COURSE I KNOW HE'S NOT PART OF THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF. But the way to approach such a situation, is to apologize ON BEHALF OF THE HOTEL - not yourself - FOR THE UNFORTUNATE SITUATION AND OFFER SOMETHING TO THE CUSTOMER SUCH AS AN APOLOGY AND A FULL REFUND. I booked through Expedia and I was on the phone with them for over 40 minutes. The Expedia agent had been trying to get a hold of the front desk person, and he's obviously not picking up the call. After a while, when the Expedia agent finally got a response, the Expedia agent told me at first that the hotel refunded me $74. Why??? When I paid $104???? This is the type of incompetence they have here. They chose to hire a rude person to work the front desk position - someone who usually takes on the responsibility of making sure the guest is happy - on a very busy Saturday night! As a business owner myself, I can say this is the type of CRAP that I will never tolerate. If he was on camera and I was the manager/owner, he would've been dealt with immediately. Lastly, I won't waste my time describing in full detail what we saw upon entering the room. Thus I posted photos showing an unmade bed, boxes of who knows what, pots, pans, and dirty towels everywhere, and the strong smell of some sort of curry. There could've been more but I didn't find it necessary to explore. It actually scared us because we thought that someone might even be in there. Bottomline: worst hotel experience in my life.

Stayed here a week as was working nearby, and had no car so just walked or took buses when needed. Staff were all very friendly. The concept is basic but cheap - there is no room servicing or cleaning during each stay, no restaurant, but a kitchen in each room. Reception have crockery , coffee machines etc to use, and provide basic breakfast stuff first thing. Room has A/C and bathroom/shower is fine. There is a laundry room and vending machines in the building Closest stores, restaurants, bars are about a 1mile walk across the 101 in Belmont, but roads have pedestrian crossings, it's fine if you are happy to walk (I am). Belmont is on the main SF to San Diego CalTrain route and also has Bus Stops to nearby Hillsdale and Burlingame shopping and to the Airport. It was fine, given its cheaper than most other places. Room next door had a family and some noise came through the wall, but I managed to sleep, so wasn't really an issue. Free WiFi is quite slow, there is paid wifi which is more expensive.
