We had a wonderful time despite the COVID restrictions. We would definitely return for another restful get-away.

very clean helpful and efficient staff unique property great location

The most beautiful hotel I have ever been in and likely ever will. If you love beautiful old architecture and want to feel like you are waking up in an ancient castle this is the place to stay. No detail was spared making this enormous structure a heaven for those seeking inspiration and peace. Ask for a map of the hotel when you enter you won’t be disappointed; the hotel itself would take a day or two to explore. It reminds me of those walled cities you see pictures of near the Mediterranean. On other details; the service is outstanding and friendly; the food is top quality with generous portions, the rooms are clean and feel like a princesses quarters from a fairytail. Don’t be surprised to see flower petals everywhere they fall from the beautiful magenta plants that are everywhere. The pool is clean and lovely and I would recommend you spend a hot afternoon there.

The hotel was great, the staff was incredibly friendly considering what is going on in the world but our room was never cleaned by the staff. I'm not sure if that was intentional as they might be keeping a distance with COVID but I should have been told that.

Amazing and unique. Must stay here if you’re in the area!

In the room we were in, there was a loud party next door in the Santa Barbara room. It sounded as if it were in our room. When people came and left this party, their footsteps were heard and conversations easily understood as they travelled up and down the corridors. It stopped at midnight, then a cleanup crew arrived and their music and talking were also easily understood. In the morning, trays and footsteps and conversations were loud enough to wake us.

We loved being in the heart of the Festival of Lights. Our room was clean and we enjoyed our stay.
