Red Lion Hotel Oakland International Airport

Great for an overnight close to airport

Quite surprised this place was so decent based on so many negative reviews but it was fine! Shuttle wasn't super timely but they came after I called; check in was super easy; I got a nice clean room in the tower on the 6th floor that was quiet and safe. The maid had even done a bunch of that folding decoration with the toilet paper and towels- showed they are trying- and the shampoos and soap was high quality stuff. The breakfast wasn't great but it was enough before my flights (the coffee that day was so bad I went back to my room to make it but that was fine) and the shuttle back to airport was very fast. Basically if you are on vacation in the area you shouldn't be staying in that neighborhood anyway, unless you have business in the area or game to attend, but for an overnight needing quick access to Oakland airport this was perfect and quite comfortable.

Days Inn Redwood City

Nice in a pinch!

Had to book this hotel as there was a large convention in San Fransisco and very few rooms available and those that were were pricey. A shame that the entire city lodging can increase their fews to exploit the situation.

Budget Inn Redwood City

Was a good location and easy to go to San Fransico but the room could have been cleaner. Plus it was very loud from the neighbors walking around
