I am never one to leave reviews. In this case, I feel it is important. The staff upon check in was kind. However, overnight, it felt VERY unsafe. There was a girl crying for help around 2am. I called the front desk to report this and was told “sometimes it is better to stay at home,” by the night time staff who is apparently a part time auditor staff, according to the manager who I called the following day. Same manager has promised to call me back for a follow up, but has dodged my calls. I see this as very unprofessional, and very concerning.

I booked this hotel after I read the reviews given my prior guests but when I got to the hotel I got one issue after another. When I arrived to the hotel around 10 pm , the girl at the front desk couldn’t find my reservation even when I provided her the confirmation code and passport, when she finally found it , she gave me the room key to a room that was already occupied. I went back to the front desk and got another room. When I got in , not only the safety box was broken but the shower and bed cover were rags . After a long flight from Taiwan to San Francisco I was too tired to go back to the front desk again to address the issue . I only wanted to rest , something that I was not able to do because the mattress was hard. The following day after I ate breakfast which by the way was surprisingly good the lights went off apparently due to electrical outage in the area which I understand it was out of the control so I decided to do an early check out and even though the manager was at the lobby at the time of the check out he didn’t offered an apology or any time of compensation for the issue . Very disappointed

Excellent! Only minutes from SFO, free shuttle

We will always use this hotel when overnight in San Francisco for connecting flights. Easy free shuttle to and from the airport. Friendly and helpful staff. I had a package from Amazon shipped there and they held it until my arrival. Love the warm homey furnishings. Room was immaculate as well as the entire hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby. Quiet location on the waterfront. Lots of breakfast options. A gym for working out. It has it all! We highly recommend!

Excellent Hotel Minutes from SFO

We will always use this hotel when connecting with flights from SFO. Easy free shuttle to and from airport. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. I was able to have an Amazon package shipped there and it was kept until my arrival. The room was immaculate as well as the entire hotel. It's a quite location on the waterfront. Many choices of restaurants nearby. The breakfast options were plentiful. Not an IKEA hotel, YAY! It's beautifully decorated with homey comfortable furnishings. We highly recommend!

When we checked in the clerk would not honour the food and beverage credit even though I produced the copy sent by Expedia. We paid the full amount. This morning we spoke to a different clerk and he looked up our account and said we were entitled to the credit and refunded the amount. Bad first impression.

The hotel was great, and staff was friendly. I love the location and breakfast options. It's close to the airport which is a plus. My only concern was the cable. When changing the channel with the remote it took about 10 seconds because the next channel to appear. TBH, it was getting quite annoying, watching TV with such a delay. Overall it was a nice hotel clean and safe.
